jynxdays
We now know that Gta V is in Los Santos, or San Andreas. It would only make logical sense for summer clothes this time, like shorts and Beaters ( similiar to the guy in the red car ) And we don't have to have long sleeve sweaters all the time like Gta IV. Any thoughts about what kind of clothes we might be able to get?
Brawly
Yeah I would love to have some polos in the game like, i'm sure we will be able to customize them even more this time since the main guy seems to be pretty wealthy. I'm sure he will have alot of buisness suits and summer clothing to wear and I think they will be able to customize them in detail even more this time. That's what I hated about GTA IV, all the main characets wore long sleeve clothing not one had short sleeve shirts, kinda stupid tbh. Hopefully this time there will be alot more selection. Pretty sure places like Didier Sachs, Binco, Victim, Zip etc will all be back too.
Halo_Override
Shopping/clothing options would be nice. It added a lot to my SA experience, and it would be a shame if they didn't bring that back in.
FlavouredMilk
What I hated about IV was the way your wardrobe worked, shuffling so slowly left and right looking for your item.

Brawly
What I hated about IV was the way your wardrobe worked, shuffling so slowly left and right looking for your item. It was even worse in San Andreas, waiting for CJ to walk in and out of the wardrobe and pose which took another 10 seconds. It was horrible. MajorVienna
Better be a better selection this time, IV's was atrocious. I hope it's faster too. GT5 sped up the gameplay for modern times by giving you a desktop-like home menu, good idea, maybe something similar may work for GTA 5's clothes setup. Open wardrobe>Menu. IV was an improvement but I want really quick clothes selection. If it has that, then its good. I'd also like there to be a good range. People often say that GTAIV didn't have a lot of range, saying that you could only dress like a tramp and in suits but you did get some variety by mixing at Perseus and Modo. Still, maybe another store would be nice.
MiamiVice1984
I hope they gonna have more clothing options in Multiplayer this time around becuse IV online customization was LAME.

Hopefully this time there will be alot more selection. Eh wasn't GTA IV set during winter or autumn? Makes sense if the game was meant to be set in a cold time of the year. More clothes would be nice, but I hope the GTA IV method of changing is used. SA's was incredibly tedious. Mr Podge
I'd also prefer the changing of clothing to be much quicker too, more like it was in SR3 (sorry for swearing )

I'd prefer a drop-down menu or something, kind of like how it was set up in *gasp* Saints Row. It's just more practical. If we could save our outfits it'd be even more convenient, so you can switch to your favorite combinations without having to change each piece of clothing individually. As far as clothing stores go, I'd like to see the return of Binco, Zip, Didier Sachs, and some kind of party store where we can buy costumes. You know, for novelty value or missions like if you're robbing a bank dressed like nuns or if you just want to dick around in a clown costume. Mr Jump
Yeah, more variation would be nice. In GTA4 you had the three stores with shabby clothes, average clothes then suits. More shops with their on style of clothing would be nice. Some ideas could be The "surfer"/"summer" look, "sporty" look, "gangsta" look, "flashy" look, "business" look, "rock" look, "average" look "shabby" look ect. The variety that San Andreas had was good but the time it took to cycle through them did take some time.
Vice Beach
I'm thinking R* will limit the clothing choices to only stuff that the protagonist would actually wear (like IV) but with alot more choices and maybe color options. But in multiplayer I'm hoping they will go all out on character customization. They have it in them, it's just an issue if they deem it worth their precious time. Tipper
Clothes in IV were long-sleeved because the game was set in Autumn, I don't see why it's a problem. Since V is set in a city with a warmer climate, I'd like summer clothes for a change. If the protagonist is the guy on the balcony in the trailer, I expect a good range of suits, formal and casual shirts, polos, t-shirt, shoes and jeans. What I'd like too is a possibility to choose the color/motif.

I agree. When it came to unlimited customization options, SR did it just fine with their clothing options. You were even able to change the color of the clothing you wanted. Not only that. Rockstar should bring back the ability to get work-related clothing, such as Police Uniforms, Parmedic Outfits, SWAT, FIB, Construction, Lawyer, etc, etc.
JoanCrawford
Ooh yes! Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Armani, Fendi, Versace, Valentino, Manolo Blahnik. If those are all not added into the game I will be very upset.

If Schyster is an actual brand name of a car manufacturer, I'd have my doubts about their business with a name like that

Tipper
Not only that. Rockstar should bring back the ability to get work-related clothing, such as Police Uniforms, Parmedic Outfits, SWAT, FIB, Construction, Lawyer, etc, etc. Only if they make them useful. Something that bugged me in IV was that there was really no way at all to enter forbidden zones. I wanted to see the Civilization Plaza (UN counterpart) but impossible to go near it. A Police uniform would have been appreciated. In IV all special clothing were useless, who dresses as a garbage collector after the mission? I agree; more customization by the inclusion of real world counterparts to glasses, hats, earrings, belts, shoes, pants, shirts (under, over, and coats).
