BoneMachine
So now that a new GTA has been announced it's time to get down to one of the most important matters regarding the upcoming title; that is, what songs will you be singing along to on the radio while you're running over little ole ladies and picking up prostitutes? Personally I thought the soundtrack to GTA IV was one of the best the franchise has ever had (granted I just stuck to Radio Broker, Liberty Rock Radio and WKKT), but I do get the criticisms that there wasn't enough recent music being played on a lot of the stations. So basically what songs do you wanna be listening to playing GTA V? Now instead of just listing off your favourite songs, think of the music that'd be great for a badass car chase or driving peacefully through the city or whatever. Basically any song you could justify complimenting the gameplay as opposed to it just being an awesome tune. Also what kinds of genres do you want the stations to be broken up into? Was there any types of music you felt were severely under-represented last time around?). And is there any new features that you'd like to see added to the radio stations such as the main character is able to call in to one of the chat shows perhaps? Personally I'd love to have Sabtoage by The Beastie Boys for those high adrenaline cop chases (nothing makes you feel more badass than syncing up a helicopter explosion to when the chorus kicks in). Or maybe Lovely Day by Bill Withers for when you just wanna cruise through the sunny streets. Oh and whatever format the chat shows are in Lazlow MUST return. titans12321
Anything by Yelawolf or G-Eazy. If you haven't heard either of them, look them up. Here's some of their best songs.
Dale Nixon
There should be a hardcore punk radio station again, as a lot of punk and hardcore bands started out in the LA area. Some Black Flag in the game would be amazing, much better than that NYHC stuff.

I think that would be the perfect song for GTA V right now...if the cop chases are crazy

Dale Nixon
Ah, yes. Thrash metal radio station would fit in quite nicely as well, as the Bay Area, LA and such is where all these prominent bands had begun.
Jonesizzle
I've noticed with San Andreas and IV (as far as hip hop/rap music goes) they tried to hard to get the west coast and east coast vibe to music. I hope they go far and wide to get artist, rather than favor a west coast or east coast set of rappers. I also hope they do less radio stations and more songs, like they did with San Andreas (10, with 1 Talk Show station) rather than IV (16, with 3 Talk Show stations), it seemed like in GTA IV every time I hit a radio station it would always be playing the same song. JuventusFC
Also a classic hip-hop channel for a throwback to SA would be nice. Maybe even a 2-3 tracks from SA like f*ck wit Dre day, Nuthin but a g thang and express yourself. But also more N.W.A, Ice Cube, 2pac and maybe even Biggie for just general classic hip-hop. Bay area thrash channel Classic Rock channel Lazlo Modern & modern-ish House & tech (Daft Punk, Gesaffelstein, Justice, Guti, ZZT, Azari & III & Surkin).
