elquemo
People have been speculating on the roll that money will play in GTA V since the release of the new logo last week that resembles a five dollar bill. Then yesterday the trailer seems to focus on the "Have and Have-nots" And finally today in Rockstar's GTA V statement they go on to proclaim, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar Grand Theft Auto games have always revolved around "rags to riches" stories, so why now do Rockstar claim money will play such a large role in V? We've heard speculation that the story will revolve around a large heist, or a large some of money changing hands. But then again, what GTA hasn't revolved around that? We've also seen from the trailer that the economic recession will play a large part of the story, but i have a feeling that the importance of money will run much deeper then just that. I believe that money will play a HUGE roll in the game. So huge that you may even need money just to survive, just like the real world. Feeling hungry? Better have a few bucks to buy a meal. Need to get across town? Better buy some gas. Need a place to sleep (save game)? Well lets hope you have enough money to rent a hotel. In other words, I think Rockstar will combine the realism of IV with the RPG elements of the original San Andreas to create a world where money is not just a novelty, but a necessity. Play your cards right and you might find yourself living in Vinewood Hills with rock gods and movie stars. Make a few bad decisions and you might have to go panhandle under the bridge just to fill you stomach.
