Rhino (tank) might return?

If the Rhino looks like this, has separate controls for the turret and driving, and has the ability to FLATTEN cars and vans then I would love to see it return.

Yes, exactly what you said, plus that it needs to have tracks and not wheels.

How could I forget that? The fact that the new tank must have tracks is absolutely essential, let's hope R* north don't give us a stupid unrealistic one like in LCS

I imagine going to Los Santos and detonating the bomb, then I drive/fly to the Countryside (a distance like between san fierro and the mount chiliad) and trigger the bomb and theres a very very big explosion

Wrong, that only applies to characters. i think were gonna see a rhino that looks pretty damn close to SA rhino, which was done VERY well.

It looks like some kind of truck, maybe a normal pickup truck, maybe the jeep-like vehicle that's driving under the bridge in another scene with people in the back, or perhaps some sort of industrial truck or even a military deuce and a half. It's definitely not a tank.

 

I hope they bring the Rhino and the military back. That was the most disappointing thing about IV, no military.

Rockstar did confirm there would be military after a 5 star wanted level, although it would be referred to as the National Guard.

 

One big dissapointment from GTA IV was no army at 6 stars, just a rain of gunfire...

haha wow! Things change over time. San Andreas-1992. GTA 4-2008. Real car models from then till now are drastically different. it doesnt make a difference. if there is a tank, it will be called RHINO. if there is a NOOSE tank, it will be called APC.

Im going to be disapointed if i dont see a tank in V... Im tierd of R* taking out the silly fun parts though LC isnt really the place for a tank so no worries there. But with all this country side i think tanks would be great! Imagine massive tank battles online in the dessert or sneaking battles in the forests at night he he pich black idling through some small trail and BOOM! A glowing shell just flys past you haha would be so nuts!

I remember now why I fell in love with GTA. The thing that turned me on to the rest of Vice City and the whole series in general was when I first looked through the cheats, found the spawn rhino cheat, and went on my first GTA rampage. So yes, this tank must return. The APC was alright, but it's weaksauce compared to the rhino. Rhino tanks for life, baby.

Chances are it'll be in the game. But man, there is no way that that car is a tank. It's a Bobcat, or possibly the ute version of the Rancher.

I don't know... I think that the fact that there was no military base in IV was very unrealistic. In V, there is (hopefully) going to be a lot of country space and city space. There really should be no reason why there isn't a military base in V. I would like to see some new military vehicles but the Rhino needs to return.

 

I think that there is a certain point of realism that needs to be avoided. I mean sure, you don't see a tank driving around the streets in real life, but does that mean it can't happen in a video game?
