ArienMC
I don't think the older white male is our main character. I'm pretty sure the guy the guy talking through out the trailer is our guy. And at 0:44 in the trailer, the white guy taps on the van and says "Let's go". Although it's not loud and is kinda muffled, it doesn't sound at all like the guy talking through out the trailer. Discuss.

jdrandall38
Really.... There no way the Narrator is the Protagonist...cuz...that wouldn't make any sense? Right? Oh it might be? Oh, ok! Edited November 3, 2011 by jdrandall38

gtaftw69
I reckon that the guy we see tapping on the van, is the older guy we see looking out over the city and the guy voicing the narrative, and I am gonna stick my neck out and say its Tommy Vercetti!!!!!!!!!!! HoboDealer
BTW i'm 95 % sure that the guy overlooking the city is our protagonist. The Narrator voice matches perfectly with the body imo. Why does everyone think this? I'm 100% sure the voice on the trailer sounds hispanic and the slightly tanned dude in the red car is the protagonist. ArienMC
Like I said in my OP it's not loud, and sounds muffled. I played it a bunch of times in a row. It doesn't sound like the narrator at all. I'm sticking with what I said. No one else noticed anyone else talking in the trailer. So stop hating. Agreed, I think most people just want it to be him because everyone thinks it's Tommy rather than actually thinking it is him talking.

sgn12345
IMO I think it's the person overlooking the city just because we see him multiple times throughout the trailer and the fact that his character model is incredibly detailed compared to the pedestrians and for the record I am not on that bandwagon that think it's Tommy, in fact I think it would hurt the series if they brought Tommy back, no one from the III era should be back except for Lazlow. We see 3 different males throughout the trailer multiple times, and then once all together. It could be any one of them.

However muffled it is, I can hear a faint Italian accent. One that kinda sounds like Henry from Mafia II. And an accent doesn't change because the voice is muffled. There is no way the narrator is Italian.

IX-MJ-XI
He's wearing a mask. Yeah, There's a chance he's our protagonist for V. I see him driving a blue car at 0:50. And there's a chance he could be the guy viewing the city from a building. 50/50 chance it 'can' be Vercetti. *Crosses his fingers*

GuantanamoObama
What the hell? That's your only explanation? The narrator's story matches PERFECTLY to that of a GTA character's, and as others have states, he is wearing a mask and his voice is muffled. I hope a mode locks this thread soon. ArienMC
The old guy is the main protag. Old People = Kids = Desperate Need of money. DUH Never once in the trailer did it say he HAD kids. He said he wanted them. Why would a old man move somewhere to settle down? Wouldn't he already be settled down?
