Hot off the heels of the debut trailer for Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar Games has officially stated that Grand Theft Auto V is their most ambitious and robust project to date.

Sam Houser, President & Founder of Rockstar Games, had this to say about the upcoming title, "Grand Theft Auto V is another radical reinvention of the Grand Theft Auto universe. We are incredibly excited to share our new vision with our fans."

It was confirmed yesterday in the GTA V debut trailer that this game will be set in Los Santos – a Rockstar Games rendition of present-day Southern California.

An official press release states Grand Theft Auto V will be, "A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission based gameplay and online multiplayer."

The inclusion of online multiplayer comes as no surprise. Online multiplayer has become a standard in Rockstar Games with online multiplayer modes in GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption.

For those of you who didn’t catch the trailer yesterday, you can watch the Grand Theft Auto V debut trailer here on GameDynamo.
