Is that last shot in the Blaine County video Grapeseed? I've seen some streams but still not seen a good view of Grapeseed since the original photo viewer picture.

Well there we have it I guess guys! This has been an absolute joy to follow! Compared to the major contributors around here I haven't done all that much. Threw out a few ideas now and then. I am forever thankful for the contributors here who have made these past 2 years just that bit easier :-D

This will probably be my last post on this thread for a little while.

There will be lots of new buildings & landmarks to ID once we play the game for ourselves, plus we need to pinpoint some places that we couldn't quite work out, like the hiking scene etc.

I've joined the Mappers crew, so I'll see a few of you online in a couple weeks. Cheers.

 

Anyway, the post. We had a distant view of the factory/facility a couple of weeks ago, but the last frame from the Blaine County video gave us our first good look at it & helped pinpoint it's location.

From what I've read, we can rob all the liquor stores in the game.

Without playing the game myself, I'd say it would be the liquor store right across the road from F's house.

f*cking gutted this thread is over...for the last 2 years (since day 1) I have checked this page everyday and it has become part of my daily routine.

 

Like to thank all contributors fido, wayne and zombie obviously, as well as all the other people who have contributed in any way (except f*cking kindled). It's been a blast!!

 

Btw my map was the blueprint with catalina island that went viral... was pretty funny to see people coming here and saying "is this the real map?!" So thanks for the laughs and entertainment and hope everyone here enjoys the game we've all put two years worth of time into already!!!

Hey all... I also want to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread! Especially Fido, of course, not just for his mapping skills, but also for setting the tone here. It was great fun to do this, and given the > 20,000 posts and > 4,000,000 views, I think it was really worth it.

 

If I had to pick the single greatest achievement -- which is almost impossible, since so many people have made fantastic contributions -- then I guess that would still be GTAKiwi's first map, posted on November 20, 2012 (!!)
