You cant drive around in the North Yankton because you have to be faster than train. Also its set 9 years ago and yo ucant really go anywhere because the mission fails imediately.

 

 

Its just mission location. Deal with it. I dont know why you so desperately need snow.

Map is totally HUGE (definitely doesn't look that big on paper), however a lot of it are just big empty areas with nothing to do other than cruise the roads

There was snow in San Andreas for 1 mission only. Why is it such a big deal if snow is mission only in V?

 

People think they put "too much effort" into the snow just for a mission.... do you really think Rockstar would think "Ah, it's just for 1 mission, let's all do a half-assed effort of snow - make it look as sh*t as possible!" ???? Come on. They are perfectionists. Just because it looks all snowy and sublime visually doesn't mean it has gone to waste because you can't free roam .

Can confirm endless drive thrus and restaurants that werent on the "labeled" map. Plus tonnes and tonnes of liquor stores, pawn shops and gas stations. All with people using them. Just saw a big taco place lol.

Could you remember any of the restaurants? I saw 24/7's & a gas station but nothing food related yet. Praying they've put in a classic In-N-Out style interior.

The driving physics look to much like Midnight Club LA than IV... well... it's not cool.

 

R* already said that it would be like that.

Fort Zacundo has air to ground missiles.. They request you to leave the no fly zone.. dispatch a jet and then fire SAMs at you from the base. Looks gorgeous at night all lit up.

I see what you mean, but... this thread wasn't intended to remain innocent forever. No-one expected R* to delay the release just because we were not 100% done with the map

 

Of course I hope this doesn't become the place to discuss every single frame from every single pre-release live stream. But what can you do, people have waited for this game for a long time, and the Internet is still a relatively free medium. And that's okay. At least the thread isn't pinned. It could be much worse.

 

If it's about "innocence" though... maybe the next four days are spent best away from a screen? Last chance anyway, for quite a while, I guess.

None so far outside the usual suspects. You can see the Mondrian, Chateau Marmont, Sunset Tower and Sierra Tower complex. On the subject of landmarks, I spotted a bunch of theaters downtown. Maybe we'll see the Orpheum.

Why will this thread get locked soon? We may as well lock every thread on this forum if it is because of leaks. If it is because mapping is done that makes no sense either. Threads shouldn't get locked based on something being done, they should only be locked if something is against the rules. And when it comes leak, I see those all over this forum now. The rules aren't very clear at the moment and I must say they were never really that clear to begin with.
