Mapping Los Santos! Building/landmark analysis

Hollywood Park Casino was spotted by the mappers here.

 

Stock markets is gambling technically some might say.

 

Also GTA IVs strategy guide had multiple maps with different things highlighted, so this is just a few of the maps in that guide.

 

Also the people worried about NO property to buy in Malibu, well who says that purchasable houses?

 

If it was whats that in grape seed? A house or business? If it were a business, why is their no icon for a hangar to purchase at the SS airfield? It was confirmed you can buy a

McKenzie hangar

at that airstrip.

 

So please don't worry, lots still to be revealed.

The desert seems small

 

People can't make up their minds. I remember countless threads where people were complaining that it seemed the countryside woud be mostly desert.

 

Now that we have the map and can see that the oppisite is true, people nitpick that too.

Unlikely. Last time I tried, it took ~10.5 mins at ~160 kmh... and the map turns out to be slightly smaller than I had estimated then.

let's speed it up a littlebit av.speed 120km/h would be quite realistic then. takes ~30min.

And that scale is quite accurate if there is white and black line and end of black reads 5000ft so half of it 2500ft/762m and the line fits 84 times to that route so 64km.

Dissapointing there is only 3 Airfields/Airports.. though the fort does look immense. The map must be hiding tonnes of detail because it does look rather baron right now.

Three is about right. For each part of the map. 5 or 6 is a bit overdone.

 

A little grass strip up in the far north could have been useful.. Still looks quality though.

 

Exactly what i thought, it just needs one, small grass or paved airport near plateo bay
