Mapping Los Santos! Building/landmark analysis

Below the plane to the right there appears to be a trailer in the river. This probably doesn't help with mapping but I'm assuming it's the same location where Trevor was threatening that guy in Trailer 2?

But we don't see that "castle" /silo thingy on other screens (mainly, the parachuting one from the website opening).

Related to the train/rail discussion earlier today, it looks like we finally have a confirmed location of the '...k railyard' sign from trailer 2:

 

I'm also wondering if the 'welcome' sign on the 4th street bridge (from the online trailer) is somehow related to the railyard, since it is very similar in design and located nearby. I have searched for real life versions of both signs without finding any.

Great job from everyone, I honestly had no idea there were this many dedicated people in the community, and I'm amazed with your deductions. Seems like you guys got nearly the entire map figured out before release

I think there are many many places we haven't seen yet. The map is so huge, and most screenshots have been in just a few locations. I think they've been careful to show a lot without showing a lot, if ya know what I mean.

But Los Santos is behind the mountain's on the right, above the left propeller of the helicopter you can see the antenna which stands behind the vinewood sign

It's much different seeing a location from way up high versus actually being there on the ground. That's what I mean. We've probably seen the valley in this new screenshot from way up high, but actually being near ground level is something else entirely.

Now can you find the building I marked up? Seems pretty distinct. I've spent quite some time looking for it around the LA River, but to no avail.

By the way, as i explained earlier, i don't think it is los santos, neither the wind farm or the prison. I think it's some sort of factory or maybe a small town
