[GTA V Maps]

I had created a thread to keep the progress of the maps safe, organized, and easy to be found, but sadly it was locked. I'm re-posting it here and hoping it won't get lost in the 1,000+ pages of this thread.

 

 

Below are the maps on May 22, 2013 which is the day before Rockstar revealed the blueprint map of Los Santos.

It'll probably be sooner than that, seeing as how pictures of GTA V getting prepped for shipping are popping up everywhere. I give it a week and we'll have it.

Just one thing I noticed while looking back through some screens.. It seems that this is the only hillside in the game which would be suitable for skiing (not too steep drop, without trees and sticky edges etc.). Also the fact that it is near Pala Springs Tramway feeds my assumption. Only thing which would be a pain in the ass is that there are railroads at the bottom and you might have to avoid oncoming trains

I must have missed it but I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere:

 

Shows a low bridge across the north west river. Looks similar to the one by the Alamo sea but it isn't that one.

It looks like you also have to cross a road to get to the tramway station too. I'd like to see it but I'm not convinced it'll get snowy.

It's legit apparently.

There is one without the watermark on GTAV.net, but it's only half the size.  This one is clearer & bigger.

 

 

Edit.  I have no idea where it's located.

For that Sandy Shores sign, what is the white surrounding the 12/13 shaped like? I know state road symbols are shaped like the state in some states (ironically California is not one of them) but It doesn't look like the map. Here's an example of one for a Louisiana state road symbol if you didn't get what I said.

I'm not sure but that sign could be the outline of the map north of the Los Santos region, i.e. Blaine County. (or maybe a sub section of it as that doesn't seem like a great fit)

Could it be on the Alamo River ? It looks like it looking at the scenery.

But we haven't seen it on other screens so...

But I really don't know where it could be.

The slope in the background reminds me of the view down that river when the Cuban 800 flew past in Trailer 2. I think it's somewhere down there but I've not seen it in other screens, looks like there might be a second waterfall after that bridge too.

I really don't see many differences between the 3D map and the fanmade maps of others. There are some roads/railroads missing on the 3D map but I don't really see other noteworthy differences. It most certainly doesn't look like some kind of leak.

It's not a leak, may have come from igta forums, not sure. Nicely made though, but could do with more details like the sandy shore hills and things.

Problem with this is that according to the compase at the bottom right the Plane is Flying Directly West which there seems to be more land. The Fan map has it going South. So paletto bay is probably more to the Top East

True. A lot of things on Fido's map should be moved in whichever direction depending on the area. I think he also knows this but it seems to involve him having to redo it all together and I don't blame him for not wanting to do all that work.

Yes, we have seen where the dirtroad crosses the river, but this is the first detailed image of the actual bridge.

Actually it used to be on an older map of GTAKiwi's, I wonder why he removed it.
