Looks like maybe a few new location names on the sign.

Anyone have some ideas where this area is located? At first i thought up in the hills of rockford or vinewood but the hills in the background are unfamilar.

Well, if this is the same scene (it's a few frames later, but R* has fooled as before by using different areas within the same action segment), it's located somewhere on the eastern side of the LS river. I'll try to look into the new shot of the oil region.

Looks like the Paleto Cove shark artwork was right after all.

yes, west north part of blaine county has some islands, not sure though that they are as big as in the shark postcard;) but the islands are there indeed

Yeah. We could see one little island when Trevor stepped out of the RV in the gameplay video near the Bixby bridge.

Hopefully that's only just a portion of the islands that we can see.

Still believe there's another to the SW of the map but we didn't get any proof this time.

The Titan makes its way along the southern tip of Los Santos, heading west past Del Perro Pier and Vespucci Beach. Half way up the west coast, we glimpse a previously unseen industrial complex / small town, before we branch along the Zancudo river and land on the Sandy Shores airstrip south of the Alamo Sea.

 

We query the route with The Benz later on and while a Rockstar rep claims they aren't talking about certain locations yet, Leslie laughs and confirms, "You guys really know your sh*t".

 

And for the future...

 

 

The Benz claims that Los Santos is only the beginning. The volume of creator tools, missions and items will grow, but at some stage GTA Online will head into new locations. He suggested they were sitting on a lot of content, and it doesn't take a genius to speculate what it might be.

I'll answer myself, this must be the airstrip of Paleto that the "San Andreas flight school" refers to.

I am very dissapointed to say but the map is small.There is not other city or anyother place we havnt see.the mappers here have done a good job and correctly mapped the gta v map,thanks to them.here is the real map of gta v.This is real because it 100% coincides with areas rockstar has shown us and you can see even the vinewood sign on the mountain in the map

It's also worth noting that there is a plane scrapyard South of Sandy Shores, near the antennas.

That's what I was thinking. They do reference this thread a lot in their videos and I've no doubt they 'take inspiration' from it. I'd say the hard work in this thread is paying off. Although it was the 'more to be revealed' and more content to add in that got me most excited.

Instantly thought of the airplane graveyard in GTA SA when I saw that.

It was nice to see behind Salvation Mountain too.

Lots of details were uncovered. Some mysteries solved, some theories confirmed.
