Mapping Los Santos! Building/landmark analysis

Can somebody get a screen capture of the plane race coming down the side of chiliad.

 

It looks like Poleto Bay carries on much further west than the town does

The coast looks like it goes straight on where we have it curving back south.

But, these screens, there is something strange. We see Sandy Shores in the screen of the plane, and the sea in the screen of the bike. This menas that there is sea in the south of Sandy Shores. This changes everything.

Just wondering about these islands in the top right corner, I can't place them.

Not claiming that there's another island, just thinking out loud.

I believe the bridge in the top centre of the image was at a boundarie of the map? Or am I completely wrong?

 

Seems like another small island

0:09 of Online video shows Beverly Center is called "Rockford Plaza" This is also listed in the shopping section of the GTA V website.

No way are they silos. They are massive. You could farm for years on those fields there and the produce wouldn't fill half of one.

Is it me - or are we seeing more land spreading out to the west of Paleto than we have in the map so far

 

There is the HUD as well giving us a clear North Direction to0 the right side of the picture.

 

Any Thoughts?

 

Also - notice we are following the cable car down the mountain to the cable car station at the bottom.

Looks like the Paleto Cove shark artwork was right after all.

That was one my favourite scenes in the trailer moonshine. Looks amazing. There is so many areas shown we have never seen. One in particular i recall is towards the end where the grupsechs van drives past. At first i thought vinewood hills/rockford but the background mountains and hills are unfamilar.

R* are STILL not showing us the coastline past this image. What can they be hiding?

Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed when I saw it (Btw, it's a secret government base. ). It's the white spot in the top right corner of the blueprint map, it's has an L-shape.

 

amazing to see that Fido's map is completely accurate. I think it's fare to say that the shape of the island is now known. There does appear to be a small island on the nort west coast, though.

 

EDIT: dammit got ninja'd hard on pretty much everything..

 

Oh and almost the complete east and west coast are visible on other screens.

yes, west north part of blaine county has some islands, not sure though that they are as big as in the shark postcard;) but the islands are there indeed

Anyone have some ideas where this area is located? At first i thought up in the hills of rockford or vinewood but the hills in the background are unfamilar.

The bridge seen on this pic above, is the same bridge seen on this pic:

 

Which makes it seems like there's some sort of another island on the east side of the map?
