This time I think I found out something again. I know you must all have seen the plan on the wall in the gameplay trailer where trevor says: 'we're working amigo'. Well, as far as I know this haven't been pointed out jet, but I think I found the location of the mission and what you have to do:

I've posted this exact same thing hundreds of pages ago, too lazy to search at the moment. I did it for multiple heist missions.

 

Also, the 'hood' area mapping was also done around that time, I made a few small contributions to it back then. Maybe I can find those posts..

It is not that hard to click your user name and "Find all posts by this member" smile.gif

k, I see it now, SORRY, I wasn't trying to steal any idea's! However, the mission name, todo list, approach boat sinking or tank and heli is my new idea, you haven't named that

Not sure why you apologizing, guess it is nice? But this isn't competition, more info the better, whoever finds it.

glad i finally meat someone who thinks like that, but now we're talking.. what do you think the mission name is?

Like I said before, I didn't see you mapping anything at all. What I mean by trying to get the name of the mission, is that we can probably name the harbor area. Remember: the mission where we found the name paleto? It was also left on the planboard. Maybe that's also the case this time, and as far as I know is give names to areas ALSO a part of mapping.

This is most likely correct, as u can see on the map there is a red dot which is the lifeguard tower/post, and the bike is going towards that so this is correct

absolutely correct, but could it be that he is driving next to that grey road, closer to the river? I think that grey road is the straight one you can see on the left 'under' the turn

indeed, but.... WE have a problem! the dark red building, next to the wallpaint, stands next to the road that leads to the los santos forum (first image), but the way we do it now, it can't be there

That was about a dark red outline stefkes had drawn around a building.

Just finished watching Taken 2 and I noticed at one point in the movie they were on a pier in what looks like the city of Malibu. On the Malibu blueprint we see Malibu but we also see a pier sticking out towards the ocean. I presume it's the Malibu Sport Fishing Pier

It has it's definitely based on that pier, if you look on a real map it looks the same shape.
