Based off the new blueprint, I found a few spots that almost certainly look like subway / rail stations.

 

Its pretty clear the line going down to the airport is some sort of transit line. There looks to be two stations on that part of the line.

 

 

What is weird is that it completely disappears on that map. I was thinking maybe that is where it goes underground. But if that were the case then you would see a bridge over the canal in this shot. (sorry for poor quality)

 

Also, there is a line up north around Michael's house. I could only identify one station on that line.

 

 

 

What do you think? Worthy of adding onto any of the maps?

I agree those are underground lines. If you superimpose the "satellite photo" views from the gameplay video those lines are covered up.

That is just the river north of Mt Zancudo. You can even see some bits of the trailer park in an earlier frame of that video.

Comparison:

look at very left of the "n" of "new". In the "old" version there was a "X" intersection, now it's not. Are both official? lulz

The new one is correct. The X intersection doesn't exist on the original, unmagnified version at http://www.rockstargames.com/V/img/en_us/special-full.jpg. It must have appeared due to an interpolation error when somebody tried to enlarge it. The new one is from a higher resolution image that Rockstar uploaded to their Amazon product listing.

 

EDIT: actually the X intersection results from the distortion of the map being rotated in the "rolled up" blueprint image. The same area is visible unrotated in the flat blueprint detail so it's clear the X doesn't really exist.

People keep complaining(not on this thread) that the graphic quality isn't good. The ls gun club screenshot begs to differ. I think the graphics look incredible and the amount of places found on this thread is amazing. If we can go into all these places, it will be the best game of the year,

I think you missed the entire point I was trying to make... which is we can't really tell where this image is taken.

 

 

1; we can't tell where the mountains end since they're out of the shot.

 

2; the 'radar' on the boat appears to be static, since if it were dynamic the lake would be rotated.

 

3; that safehouse is still east of Michael and the entire image... not north. lol

I see it the same as you.

We still don't know what the "?" structures are, but they have caused a lot of speculation.

It's nice to find an approximate location for them. At least we know they are not part of a mysterious 2nd city.

mm, nah, look which way trevor is facing in the "camera jog motion" when he drops in the water, and look at the arrow that depicts him. I made this same mistake with the way michael was facing in his bicycling with jimmy shot - the safehouse is not to the right, it's literally in those buildings you can see in the background. the fact that he is on foot and you can see it says it is very close to him, like those buildings that are industrial looking in nature, like an old abandoned mine house or something.

 

The radar in the boat is just probably a texture (like that maps in police boats in IV), and it looks like salton sea from way high to me.
