Do you realise that in San Fierro in San Andreas one of the bridges is actually a bridge in Scotland? Do you think that when people saw that in the SA trailers they though 'OMG Scotland is in the game!'? No. There may well be a reference to SD in Los Santos.

It's an arch, SD isn't the only city with an arch like that. From what we've seen I'm confident that LS is the only full fledged city with a few towns and outposts

The arch does not have the exact same look as the arch in San Diego.

 

 

For one the arch in the screenshots doesn't have any text on it about it being the historic heart of some city.

 

It also doesn't seem to show the wings. Yes, it shows something which looks similar but it is painted in the same color as the rest of the arch making it looks like actual wings as the arch in San Diego.

 

The arch is also not an arch at the entrance of a street.

 

One would think that if Rockstar wanted to make a parody of San Diego the arch would at least be an arch of a historic center but yet nothing even hints at it. Not to mention what people have already told you about it reading "del Sol". It doesn't look like a reference to San Diego either.

I forgot, the arch in San Diego also looks wider than the one in the screenshot.

This is a MAPPING topic to try and identify locations we've seen so far. It is not for discussion of whether another city exists or the size of the map. Think that the archway is San Diego? Fine, a simple comparison picture will do, but if you want to drive the point home with an argument, we have places for that. This fantastic topic is turning to crap because you can't keep your arguments in the correct place. Please respect those who are putting a lot of work into this project and post elsewhere if that is all you have to say.

 

Think San Diego will be in V? Use The Multiple TOWNS Argument

 

Think LS is too small? Use Los Santos Size

 

Do you really want to take a vacation from these forums when Rockstar might announce GTA Online info? If not I suggest you follow through with my request.
