This is what I was looking for, the flower shop near Franklin's house. But I am not sure because other flower shops in L.A. (and around) can have the same style, like inglewood flower garden found by Angeleno on gtanf.com

At this point I think it's possible that the church and the Beer & Wine shop on Franklin's street are found somewhere in South LA.

These are supposedly the Nickerson Gardens, found in Rancho. The Watts towers are on the block.

Wow, that's sad :( (also feel bad about that mid-century motel too). At least they're now immortalized in V.

A small correction on these four buildings. Allegedly in order they were identified as the Barclay Hotel, Popular Center, Crocker Bank and Bradbury Building.

T93OIrd.jpg

The corner building on the left is definitely the Barclay. It has a similar facade and window structure.

The Popular Center is actually one of the Templar Hotels, evident by the large sign on the rooftop. As far as I'm concerned Popular Center is not in the game.

The third building looks nothing like the Crocker Bank.

The final building at the end is not the Bradbury Building, as show by Koeklin before.

Pillbox Hill Medical Center is loosely based on California Hospital Medical Center.

I agree that Popular Center is actually the Rosslyn Hotel.

Crocker Bank is also wrong.

But, I'm still convinced that the building on the right is the Bradbury.

I'll investigate further but it's possible that it is located twice in the game, like the Malibu Houses.

Also, I looked back at the first trailer and the rosslyn Hotel wasn't there back in 2011.

See the pic below, it looks nothing like the final game. So maybe it was the Popular Center but got scraped.

Do you guys think that might be the reason why we've all had a hard time trying to figure out this building from trailer 1?

Maybe things got moved around or scrapped completely, that's why we couldn't work it out.

I think it's the hospital in South LS.

Someone should go to the location of that screen to confirm it.

That kind of reminds me of the jefferson motel, and since rancho is jefferson (they are both based on Watts). :D

And also just wanted to say to every one that GTA 5 has 127 missions :D Because if you think about it the strangers and freaks missions feel like proper missions. :)

Could the church at 1:14 be based on this church in Piru?

3817425350_3338278225.jpg

location

The window reminded me of the church next to Franlkin's house but that one on Route 68 looks more like it since it's got he paneling and shape. The one next to Franklins house looks like a generic mishmash of Mediterranean/Gothic styled churches in LA, but I think it's safe to say this is the source of the window.

Can anyone get pictures of the route 68 church please?

That's amazing koeklin!

The amount of stuff you're able to find on South LS is incredible.

I consider this district to be one of the most difficult to search because it's so vast!

But it seems that the majority of buildings are located along Crenshaw so I imagine that's where you're looking first ;)

Crenshaw, Baldwin Village, Stevely Avenue: Stevely Arts

Tahitian building entrance in GTAV is based on Stevely Arts building in Baldwin Village,

but in this neighborhood another building is called Tahiti.

All I can say is wonderful job Koeklin. If you haven't already noticed, pretty much the entire Compton Courthouse block exists. You can find the public library, city hall and sheriff station.

I can't edit it either. Fido said something about letting only specific people add to it.

Anyway, if you need the ingame games for some of the buildings I've got some of them on this map:
