Millionsofdeadcops
i was born and raised in LA. looking at the trailer, Los Santos looks very much like LA. i could instantly recognize Hollywood Boulevard from some of the driving scenes, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, and Downtown. It's also very neat that they have freeway signs that indicate "Little Seoul" and "East Los Santos" which indicate that Los Santos will have portrayals of real life neighborhoods in LA (Little Seoul=Koreatown, East Los Santos=East Los Angeles) I feel that Los Santos is going to be a mix between a caricature city and an actual model of the city. It probably won't be as accurate as LA Noire -- LA Noire had an amazingly accurate map of Los Angeles, you could drive around in LA Noire and know your way around because you knew LA. But I'm thinking that it will still resemble LA pretty closely even though it's a caricature city and not a perfect, GPS/Maps-based model. But it will probably be more true to LA than san andreas because San Andreas was pretty much just a mash-up of all the recognizable, obvious Los Angeles landmarks. gtamann123
You don't have to be from L.A to recognize those landmarks (Hollywood sign. Muscle beach. Rodeo drive etc.) That's why I think this could be the best GTA city yet. They captured L.A almost perfectly. At least it looks that way
Millionsofdeadcops
Here's a comparison of Hollywood Boulevard in real life and Hollywood Boulevard as depicted in the GTA V trailer. Quoted from an earlier post i made. check out these screencaps i just took: Might not be obvious right away but pay attention to the building in the background...
