Could GTA V start in Vice City similar to CJ

So, this old white guy might be an older Tommy Vercetti right. Why not have the game start in Vice City similar to San Andreas with CJ starting at Francis INTL Airport, Liberty City? Maybe with a longer, playable intro mission explaining why he wanted to leave Vice City in the first place. Maybe as a flashback even. He talks about the weather. Maybe he hated the rain and hurricanes in Florida Maybe he got fed up with those complaining elderly people which Florida is known for. Hell, the first time I saw the GTA V trailer I was really thinking he was talking about Vice City in the beginning. Because he was talking about retirement and I saw the jetski which was already in Vice City Stories. I really hate that in the original VC you die instantly when you fall in the water So, being able to swim and jetski would have been a great improvement since I never got the chance to play Vice City Stories

 

 

At 0.08 you clearly see the story starts in Liberty City

 

 

 

So, would you like GTA V to begin in VC with a playable mission? Maybe you wouldn't get both islands. But only the right Island. Because the second island will be closed because of the hurricanes again. Also, besides the beginning in LC you actually do a short mission in LC later on with CJ in the orginial SA game. So, why wouldn't it be possible? Rockstar North has done this before Would this somewhat satisfy the hardcore GTA Vice City fans who are a bit disappointed now? Personally I might not be the biggest fan of VC. But I love the 80's atmosphere and music from the original game. And I really would have loved killing most wanted psychopath criminals like Dexter in the hit TV show Dexter which also takes place in a modern Miami

I agree with you. I also love the 80s atmosphere of Vice City! I hope there will be somthing regarding to VC.

I completely doubt that you unlock a new island with a different city and is isolated from the other.
