The 5 counties are:

Los Santos (By far the largest. The city of Los Santos itself is 1/3 the entire map and the county consists of Fernando Valley and the Vinewood hills).

Orange County Name Unknown (By far the smallest in the game. Is the home of The Glory Hole theme park).

San Bernardino Name Unknown (The second largest county in the game. The most interesting geographically. Mainly desert with many features and snow capped mountains to the north).

Ventura Name Unknown (The second smallest county in the game. The home of the wealthy and high-tech corporations. The least volatile place to be in San Andreas. It has some amazing beaches, including an actual surf beach in the east. It is bordered to the north by the Los Padres National Forest, and the Grandes Tetas Mountain Range).

San Diego Name Unknown (The southern border region with Mexico. Crossing the border will result in 5 stars unless the player immediately turns back. Has the longest coastline).

You are in denial you have no proof you have post this same sh*t over and over and over again on multiple topics and avoided my question earlier as to how you know this

What is your question?

How you know all this sh*t you've been proposing

I have answered it, but I'll answer it again.

Myself and a team of friends have tracked every single piece of GTA V information we could possibly source, and compiled a list of what we believe to be true.

It's not written in stone, but we believe we're damn well on the money.

To the other guy asking about Tijuana - Parts of the storyline are based on warring Mexican cartels. A 2-D Tijuana will be set on the other side of the Border, but you will be shot down or arrested before you can access it.

The only counties we know will be featured so far are Los Angeles and Riverside Counties. We know the latter because the wind turbines are based on the San Gorgonio Pass near Palm Springs. This suggests San Bernardino and/or Orange Counties will also be featured as they connect Los Angeles and Riverside Counties. However, we don't know for sure if any areas in Orange or San Bernardino will be featured as we haven't seen them yet. The fact that Riverside County is not included on your list, even though it is the only other SoCal county confirmed by the trailer, just shows you and your friends don't know sh*t about V.

About time people on here wise up to San Diego being in GTAV. I would be shocked if it wasn't included. Too many people think that just cause LS was in the trailer, that that's all we get.

What people fail to understand is R* have spent years working on mapping Southern California.

From this we got GTA San Andreas, L.A. Noire and RDR (where they explored the Mexican border).

If people think they are going to waste all this gathered information then, they're clearly not thinking.

San Diego will be there.

As longs as Tijiuana is not in the game I'm fine, the city looks like a dirty bomb was dropped on it. lol.gif

That's the reason I want it in the game.

One big ghetto and over the top big mansions.

San Diego will be in the game. I'd bet what's in my safe on it.

it has casinos,

a great nightlife,

a huge downtown skyline,

the largest military base in california,

a rising crime rate,

it's the 2nd largest city in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA... where the game is set...

BUT i don't want to see a 2d city across the border that I can't access, because i'm just gonna get pissed not being able to get there and go to war with the cartels...

No they aren't. I'm from SoCal, L.A. specifically, and there aren't significant windmill farms all over the place. I've spent my whole life in the greater Los Angeles area with family and friends in each county. There are only two places with that many windmills in SoCal: one is in Riverside County, the other in Kern County. They would never squeeze out Riverside and retain San Bernardino because Riverside County has San Gorgonio Pass, Joshua Tree National Park, and Palm Springs. Even Riverside is a more distinctive city than San Bernardino with landmarks like the Mission Inn, where nearly every U.S. president has stayed. Ventura County has no high tech corporations, either. Since you're from Australia, I think you should keep your ignorance of California's geography to yourself. Your predictions are ignorant and ill-informed.

remember the  scene with the vineyard and the cropduster flying over it in the trailer? seemed to be mexican migrant workers on the yard. To me, another hint for mexica being included. Hope so.

If I'm not mistaken most of the vineyards are north of LA, not south, in that case the scene with the vineyard would be a clue that San Fierro is in the game, not San Diego.

That scene looked far more like an Orange tree grove than a grape vineyard.

Could be a strong sign that we'll get Orange County.

No sh*t dude...it's like certain people think Google maps can replace a lifetime of living in SoCal or anywhere. It's cool though... maybe one day they can experience the joy of watching a GTA trailer depict areas of a city that is based off where they live too.

I've driven from San Diego to Los Angeles and it took over two hours. I doubt it will be in V, because it is just too far away. I am thinking that Palm Springs will make an appearance, though.

So, how many hours from LA to SF or LA to LV? I guess that much, much more.

It takes a lot more to go from LA to LV or to SF

San Diego has more chances. Hell, even Tijuana! I just showed you a huge-normus pic of the US-Mexico border showing how near are the 2 f*cking cities! There's even a large mall less than 500 metres away from the border.

That is very true. It's just weird how they said "Los Santos and the surrounding countryside". It sounds like it's only LS and the surrounding areas.

Palm Springs is only like 15 miles closer to LA than San Diego.

Also if it took you over 2 hours to get there (LA to San D) you did it wrong. Seriously you kids who don't know what the hell you are talking about should really just stop. Its funny but also kinda sad.

I'd like to see things from your point of view but I can't seem to get my head that far up my ass. sarcasm.gif I nicely said that I don't think it would be a good idea. San Diego is quite large, which could take up quite a bit of space, and Palm Springs looks to be just made up of suburbs. I doubt you have even been to either LA or San Diego.

What? You said that it took you over 2 hours to get from LA to San Diego and then proceeded to conclude that YOUR experience with the distance and time ruled out the possibility. Now your talking about how its too big for the game??

Also, I was born in San Diego, raised in Orange county and currently reside in Riverside county. You and others are literally advertising your lack of geographical knowledge (without even realizing it) and your "recovery" consists of asserting I've never been to Cali and that I have my head up my ass.

Awesome.

IMHO it would make more sense to tie in San Diego than San Francisco or Vegas, keeping it within believable geographic constraints. Still, even LA to SD is a lot of real estate and a lot of city. Can the current hardware handle it without cutting too many corners?

SA's map was great, but are you really supposed to be able to get in an airplane and see the LA skyline in front of you and Vegas behind you?

thats why san adnreas had a shi*ty draw distance

Awesome.

Awesome.

I didn't say I was 100% spot-on accurate. I've been to Southern California one time, and FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN it doesn't look possible. I'm not advertising anything. Just because you live in California doesn't mean your a database of geographical information either, you know. Oh and yes it did take about two damn hours to get San Diego to Los Angeles, so deal with it.

I've driven from San Diego to Los Angeles and it took over two hours. I doubt it will be in V, because it is just too far away. I am thinking that Palm Springs will make an appearance, though.
