GTA V Police Cars & Emergency Vehicles

Lets hope they bothered to give us a Police Uniform to wear on single player and multiplayer. I was suprised at the artwork of the female cop & how detailed the uniforms are.

This is why I feel that they really listened to us and implemented a few things. The police aspect of the game definitely needed work.

Indeed, but yet some of the others that run there mouth 24/7 shouting" F the police" can't realize that the police are one of the important aspects of the game.... And there cars some of the most commonly seen cars on the game. I wonder what Pistol the LSPD will use, cause officers have a few pistols they can choose from.

Not just the police aspect, but the emergency service area as a whole, as far as we can tell. I also like that idea of being able to customize the name-tag and the chevrons.

I'm personally hoping that the ambulances are newer models and belong to the Fire Department. There should be two types of ambulances, the fire department's and a private company. The Los Angeles County Fire Department does not utilize its own ambulances, and the City Fire Department changed the color scheme of all ambulances to be that of the ALS ambulance. The BLS ambulances can be identified by the type of number on the side. The fire trucks should be County and City. As there is not a need for all of the types, we can at least expect to see the regular city fire truck. I hope to see one for county, and one for city. It'd be great to throw an airport crash truck, perhaps a yellow ARFF ambulance, and an airport patrol vehicle (police). Ladder trucks are a big deal because the city of Los Angeles contains many high-rise buildings. If tractor trailers make a return, it would be outstanding to see a tiller ladder in the game. While they have made emergency SUV's in the past, why not throw a battalion chief's car in there? Rescue trucks, emergency boats, 2 types of engines, and etc. Of course not all of this will be added into the game, but a lot of it modded into the game on the PC version. But I do ask of RockStar that they could make all of these vehicles, including air and water vehicles customizable. Color, lighting, lettering and logos, etc.. National Guard, FBI, and other Military forces could be added in. If the NG replaces the NOoSE, we can expect to see some new vehicles for them as well. Helicopters and air and water vehicles are also going to be a big deal in the game should the map be in excess of 20 miles in width. We can expect police helicopters, a police boat, maybe the fire helicopter will make a return. That would be great.. Fire boats probably won't make it, but it's just a thoughtful idea. Let me know what you guys think. We can also expect to see more emergency vehicles debuted in the second trailer or in this month's release of new information as they are a big deal in the game as well as an important aspect.

If it was based in London we would be getting Evo Subarus BMW 3 5 series X5 police cars etc. But dont know what Southern Cali cops use. Probably the standard cruisers and dodges and chevys etc

The majority of law enforcement departments in Southern California utilize the standard Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Dodge Chargers, Challangers, Chevy Caprice, Malibu, etc. are all different types of cars that are used in this area. The FCVPI has been confirmed in serving as a standard police cruiser in the game. The Los Angeles Police Department is switching over to the Chevrolet Caprice as there standard patrol car as the Ford Crown Victoria's production was halted in 2008.

The last model year of the Crown Victoria was 2012. They were making them up until fall of 2011!

Also I liked the way the AI traffic in LA Noire moved out of your way when you had your siren on, not only did they pull over but if they were blocking the road they would try and accelerate out of the way much better than IV where they'd just dodge out the way and then pull straight back into your way!

LCPDFR won't happen on consoles because it's modded, and consoles can't hold all of that storage and information on the hard drive. That is why clans are popular on consoles. I thought that the FCVPI was stopped in 2008. Either way, the LAPD is trying to switch over to Chevy Caprices.

Rescue, you were saying something about how boats will play a big part in V, but can't we agree that the spawning rate for police boats in IV is TOO DAMN HIGH.

 

Whenever you ended up in water with more than 2 stars you were instantly ambushed by 3 police boats that come out of nowhere.

what about police system i would be surprised is that then you drive with sirens ,all cars just pull out of the way without dodging other cars , like pederastrian would be worring about they'r car , becouze its they'r car. Becouze in gta iv NPC's acting like they are robots or so scared of you, then you drive they immedately go of the way and dont care where they crash , and in all the way in game NPC's acting to much like robots. I mean its time to do some stuff like i said , i would be very surprised like: when you overdrive a pederastrian and stop , other npc's would be like holy sh*t and everyone get to the place where everything happened , someone would call police,ambulance , other cars would stop and npc's climb out of the car and watch stuff. Or if you would hit pederastrian other cars would start trying to chase you down becouze you are doing insane stuff and try to stop you like in reality. I know i talked to bit off TOPIC but thats what i want to see in gta , not just idiots hitting other cars without no reason to get to they'r destination.I hope you people get what i wanted to say.

Well of course you all know now that the pics are legit by now. With that said it really looks like Rockstar granted someones wish on female Cops.   Let's cross our fingers and wait to see what we have done with the Police vehicles

Rockstar granted me my wish. Now I just hope that the police cars and emergency services as a whole have been massively overhauled and improved.

Well, it does look like that they are bringing back the charger from the TBOGT! I could only wish if they have a SUV like that, but I don't think it's real.

 

Hopefully they bring back the motorcycle also and the APC and SWAT truck

Hopefully the new trailer will go more in depth as far as police vehicles.

Since Rockstar is trying to be more realistic with their games, they will hopefully include a light bar that doesn't look like it came from the GTA-3 era (the worst mistake of IV for me).
