GTA V Police Cars & Emergency Vehicles

Personally, I'd like some actual Crown Vic looking cars (orb taillights, slightly thicker, different headlights). The Vapid Cruiser is just way to outdated looking, and terribly generic.

 

However, I doubt R* is going to bother with more real looking cars. I think to them, if it somewhat resembles it, its good enough.

- Better Database and computer in police cars.

- Better police sirens and lights.

- Handcuffs.

- Able to put people in your car.

- Police dogs.

- Bribe and Corruption.

That would be epic if the police had handcuffs just like in The Warriors. One of the things that made the police so fun to f*ck around with. And definitely police dogs. I would love that.

 

The police cars are fine. They should just give you more things to do with them, like pulling people over. That's probably too much, but you should have more authority while in a police car.

Anyway, with the new leaked artwork we now have confirmed female police officers in the game. Not like its that big of a deal, but whatever, its new and more realistic...

Second, we see the police officer putting the prostitutes hand behind her back and her bag on the back of the car. Dose this mean there are some new police mechanics in V? Will the police have handcuffs like in RDR? Will they arrest, frisk and chase random pedestrians like in San Andreas? I hope so.

If you pause the trailer at 1:24 look at the cop car on the bottom in the alley. It loos like a marked buffalo with push bars. That's awesome!

I myself am glad to see female Cops. I truly believe that Rockstar changed the look of those Cop cars and I also believe that they have heard our voices If I'm not mistaken, female Cops was something someone suggested or asked about.

Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Impala new generation, Prison buses return, Chevy Impala old generation, Ford Crown Victorias, and basically any realistic police car. Vigilante is the best.

We need some support over in this thread if you are interested in discussing law enforcement jurisdictions, county sheriffs, state patrol, municipal police. It's broken down (with nice pictures and maps) and might be fun for some to respond beyond just vehicles as in this thread.

Well GTAIV was just a test of the Rage engine's mechanics, and now i think in GTAV they're using it to its full potential. No way they could've disregarded the communities pleas for Police sidejob and such, so they might've implemented something like it in game. For the female cops, we remember in GTA SA Carl could date a female cop, yet there were none to be seen. So I believe they decided since you could kill female pedestrians, would it really cause an outrage to make them cops? At least now women would be equal to men in rights, besides I have a sick feeling like karen, a women undercover/or full blown officer will either assist or investigate the player. As for the vehicles, we saw the police bike and police buffalo in GTAIV:TBOGT and the A.S.F bus and APC. Who could dare forget the police stinger as well. We can clearly see Rockstar is trying to make an effort to add many new police vehicles for police clans and police fans to use. I believe there will be even more police vehicles to choose from, along with a possible police sidejob. Even if we do not get our own police sidemode, at least we shall continue to roleplay with the cars/bike. So overall I think Rockstar are hearing our opinions on this, and should be grateful no matter what with the outcome

Lets hope they bothered to give us a Police Uniform to wear on single player and multiplayer. I was suprised at the artwork of the female cop & how detailed the uniforms are.

As was I. I couldn't believe that they actually bothered to display the name-tag, same badge in the location, and short sleeves with the chevrons displaying the officer's rank.
