GTA V Police Cars & Emergency Vehicles

Just look at the build up of excitement and everyone asking for proof of a police uniform online! If that doesn't scream "let us have uniforms" to Rockstar, I don't know what will... Disappoints me to no end that the only way to get these uniforms is to mod your way to them. Great job Rockstar, seriously.

Saw it too. I doubt a little bit if it's legit, to me it looks like a modder using a NOOSE model who went to his wardrobe and modified the menu.

Theres NO way someone managed to mod GTA V on PS4 in less than 48 hours.

It's someone using the NOOSE guy ped with the online clothes menu on. Also to anybody steel interested there is a new ambulance siren, but it's the VC Police siren with a lower pitch.

Yeah it's been leaked by guys who've hacked the game's data logs.

 

But take it for what it's worth. Rockstar hasn't said anything about it at all

Okay guys, it is confirmed, the FIB Granger has a new siren, the same one in the FPS trailer believe it or not, however the Sheriff SUV still has the same as the cruisers, maybe because it's marked.

Yeah.. a grain of hope dude.

 

Remember, a lot of these data logs never get used. Half of the data logs that were found in GTA V just sat there. Idle as a f*cking dodo.

So don't get your hopes up too high.. official word from Rockstar is key.

 

So far as the current Leaked Gameplay we've seen.... There is nothing to suggest any type of vigilante missions (Apart from Trevors Bounties.. but we all knew that)

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Rockstar really took a steaming turd with them, such as the horrible POLICE liveries and the inconsistency with the LSSD cars.

That is awesome about the two implemented sirens, for tone distinction in the emergency vehicles. I am curious as to if the firetruck will showcase a more fierce, piercing siren and airhorn.

Okay still to anybody who cares i'll post about the known vehicles that now have unique and new sirens.

 

Police cruisers still have the same as last gen.

Firetruck has more of a deeper and slower version of the ambulance, the airhorn is also ''heavier'' so to speak.

Ambulance has the police siren from Vice City, only in a lower pitch and also a little bit slower.

FIB Granger has the same siren as it does in the FPS trailer, a 90's siren.

Sheriff SUV has a very modern siren so to speak, can't really describe it like the others but it is something like the current siren we have now.

Hope - yes, think - no. Rockstar really do have their priorities elsewhere, and rightly so I might add. As annoying as they are, the inconsistencies in the emergency services are something that should never have happened in the first place. The game should have been released with little to no discrepancies, such as the vehicle markings and randomly coloured lights etc. But it was not to be.

 

I believe it's something we are stuck with until the PC version is released. As I said, Rockstar is focused on other things in the game, and they will not put out patches just to fix up the emergency services. Thinking realistically, they just will not do that. Too focused on first person mode and the Online part of the game.

 

It's the cold, hard, sad truth. In the meantime, I'll keep dreaming of better emergency services in GTA VI.

False, storing ability for these types of vehicles would be an easy fix. They'd see little reason to fix something that isn't technically broken though. It's not mandated that emergency vehicles have all these things, and people are simply getting there hopes up with high expectations. Would these alterations be kick(butt)? Yeah, I think so. But keep in mind that they have far more important tasks to deal with. And as for suggestions, we've done that and it's gotten us nowhere. Unfortunately for those of us who would like changes to be made, it doesn't appear as if anything will actually happen. Edited November 16, 2014 by Sanchez14

This is great news. I wonder if you can alternate between the new ones and the traditional last gen sirens, though.

 

Did you hear them all through streams or some other source? If you have any recordings or know a link to the stream where you heard these sirens, I would very much appreciate it.

They can just delete and ignore all of those and take a look at the other emails. Spamming has never worked before.

I guess it will be the PC modding community who will have to correct Rockstars mistakes, again. I'm just disappointed that an integral part of the GTA Series, the police and their vehicles, has once again been half-as*ed.
