the screen doesn't even have to animate, it can be closed.

 

What has been said about heists and potential cops n crooks game modes, in regards to the police? There should be DLC where you gain phone contacts who give you police missions. The base one is a patrol mode, where you get missions like responding to robberies, home invasions, things like that. The higher ranked missions are heists, storming criminal bases, and such.

 

You shouldn't get paid as much money, since you're on the police payroll, but it should give good RP points, and there should be some kind of "bad cop" system where you can sacrifice RP for more money.

Bull. The Frank Tenpenny and the fact that it's 201-4 disproves it. It's 2013 in the original game. Frank Tenpenny? Nah. Not even R* would do something like that. Rosenberg though...mabye.

Based off of what I have seen from the leaks, Rockstar hasn't addressed any issues with police or RP gameplay. Police Cars still have their issues with incorrect logos, jurisdiction markings, etc.

 

Last thing I'm holding hope for is that the Buffalo, LSPD Crown Vic, and Unmarked Cruiser are Online and storable. If that doesn't happen, I'll be quite disappointed.

Although that looks nice, most taxi cabs have more equipment in them than that... No computer, no radar, no siren/light controls, no spotlight handle? Just a copy/paste radio from the LS taxi.

 

Expected a little more effort from Rockstar, considering they went right into the detail on interiors - heating controls, FM radios and whatnot.

 

A standard Ford Taurus Interceptor dash is far from the GTA version:

 

 

Even the Peacemaker from Saints Row: The Third - arguably the worst designed police vehicle ever - had a more detailed interior in terms of police equipment.

Load up GTA V on your 360/PS3 right now and look at the emergency lights. Blues are almost like a teal-ish color and reds are pretty much orange or amber even.

 

I was watching a stream earlier, and the lighting has been vastly improved. It looks like they flash faster, too.

 

Trust me when I say, that photos do not do the new lighting system justice.

Watching a stream, saw an LSFD ambulance drive past which had a much different siren too the police cars that were chasing Franklin at the same time. Also during a cutscene with Martin Madrazo you could hear a deeper longer siren in the background that would alternate between wail and horns - fire truck?

Could you try and remember and describe exactly what the ambulance siren sounded like? Was it an electronic tone or a growler like the EQ2B?

As for the siren in the Madrazo cutscene, that's always been in the game. It's just supposed to be ambient background noise for the city.

But then again, I wasn't there when you heard it, so I could be (and I hope I am) wrong.

Okay for anybody who cares, the ambulance sounds like a very deep version of the Vice City Police Siren.
