Stupid how their are officers in uniforms that match CHP exactly (I live in CA and see them daily) yet there vehicle says police. Disappointed that there isn't a distinctive SAHP with SAHP Crown Vics/Chargers and that motorcycle is outdated, it should be the BMW.

I've seen no female officers, no police bikes, no Huntleys, no Cheetah's, no alot of other vehicles that I don't know the names of... I wonder if this is because I've only completed 10/64 missions

These are just some of the points i wanted to summarise that were discovered in the game:

• No access to the prison (has no interior) and no prisoners/inmates even though rockstar had interviewed and studied how prisoners act
• No access to both fib and noose buildings (no interior) and one of these buildings is deserted
• They changed the new yelp tones that can be heard in several gta v trailers back to previous gta iv's
• Piercing, airhorn and yelp tones are the same as gta iv's
• Lights activation without siren sounding impossible
• Spot light on helicopter cannot be turned on (totally unusable)
• All sirens are the same for every emergency vehicle e.g firetruck, ambulance, police bike etc.
• None of that real original air horn on firetruck
• No vigilante missions or on board computer/database on the police car
• Police do not patrol the streets
• Hospitals do not have interiors
• When a car is on fire the fire department does not put it out
• Cannot listen to radio on emergency vehicles
• No firetruck with ladder on top

It looks like those FIB guys aren't wearing all black/blue, looks like some.... tan?

 

 

On the loading screen, there was a guy in a tan suit with an FIB badge - maybe that. I'll get a deeper look tomorrow and do some mission, stockpile up and find a suitable place to get 4* and drive off in maybe a FIB SUV!

 

No problems guys - know you are all very interested as am I so thought I shouldn't keep this all to myself!

 

Earlier on the FIB responded to me in that military gear - could they have come from a chopper by any chance? In fact, you guys seem quite hyped about that, I'll get in another 4* chase and show you guys now, may take another hour though for vid to upload.

My issue was that the SWAT guys in prerelease screenshots looked very generic and that Rockstar didn't put much time or effort into making them. Supposedly, as it turns out, it looks like Rockstar MIGHT have put some effort into the FIB/SWAT guys. Some pictures/video of the FIB in military gear (FIB SWAT / LSPD SWAT) would be great. That way we can tell what agency is who.

I just got some footage of 2 FIB SUVs, coming within the next 30 mins or so

 

above: not one police car have I seen all day playing this except when pulling out of a police station & responding to an incident (and they're very reckless when responding to these, quite unrealistic, the people don't pull over, they get out and shoot back)

I'm at a loss for words. Why in the city of LA, or any area for that matter not have police patrolling areas? By the way thanks for your information. Can you answer the question a while back about the picture of the police car at the police station with the black bar on top of the LED lightbar. Are all LED lightbars likw that or just some?

It's not military gear, FBI just uses tactual tan/green for there uniforms. Also, it's once again NOOSE instead of SWAT in GTA V.

I'll be disappointed if the Buffalo's with the badges on the hood end up being SAHP as well, because it just says "Police" in huge letters. Imagine how it could've been:

They didn't even bother to remove the FDLC seal off the gauge panel on the fire truck too !

Police do patrol the streets there just not as commonly seen as they were in IV. Also, their hasn't been anyone that has checked every hospital so there is still slight hope that we can go in one.

Oh really? I thought they were still predominantly B&W because I haven't seen any white recently.

 

I know they're upgrading and improving, but me personally, I will always remember CHP like this.

It's not military gear, FBI just uses tactual tan/green for there uniforms. Also, it's once again NOOSE instead of SWAT in GTA V.

 

 

I realized that but he referred to it as military gear. And I did see one stream of a dead SWAT guy that just had POLICE on the back of the tactical gear he was wearing. It didn't say NOOSE or anything like that, just POLICE.

 

And don't forget about FBI HRT, they wear gear that people in the Army and Marines would just LOVE to have.

Oh really? I thought they were still predominantly B&W because I haven't seen any white recently.

To be honest with you, I've no idea. I think they were different designs, or maybe it was the Interceptor type design with sirens turned off?

Yeah I've seen the LED's but they're B&W. Only seen an all white here once. Never seen a CHP Charger.

Yah must be. They started using these about two years ago in Nor Cal and they now over take the Crown Vic.

Yeah, there is even an achievement/trophy for doing that mission so perhaps after doing that the FIB step up security? e.g. Agent's outside, cars in the garage and etc.

The black bar above the LED lightbar is the LED housing while the other parts are the actual case. Least though they alot wider now than the trailers.

 

Also noticed the Lifeguard lightbar has the same lightbar as the NOOSE cars in GTAIV.

 

One thing that does bother me is when you do get a wanted star in GTAV in Los Santos, why do only the Interceptors chase you. Why not have a couple normal LSPD cars in the mix. Do they think in the station "Franklin on a killing spree everyone grab the nearest Interceptor".

 

Ive been to Los Angeles 6 times in the last 3 years (I live in Australia) and I haven't seen that many LAPD cars patrolling. All ive seen is a few on the side of a road and a heap near Venice Beach. With the random police activities I think its not needed to see a patrol car patrolling in every street in Los Santos. It was a different story in Manhattan where you saw NYPD cars patrolling regularly so it was normal for GTAIV to have LCPD patrolling every corner.

 

Never know, there could be a patch on Tuesday that fixes this issue.

Yah, I really hope this mission is early in the game because I want to make the story last a long time (do lots of activities in-between missions) but I also won't be stopping until I get that building open.

Well, there IS bounty hunter missions that Trevor can do.. Maybe it's a unlocked activity after you do the first bounty mission (like how it was in IV)

Good question. I just don't believe it's not in there, I believe it will be unlocked. I lot of people are playing free roam and not many missions.
