Possible, but sadly I feel its more likely R* got lazy and named the Blaine County Sheriff, the Los Santos County Sheriff. Just feels like something they would do. confused.gif

Even if it turns out there isn't a Blaine County Sheriff department, there is enough variety in

all the emergency vehicles and officers to just pretend it is in game anyway. tounge.gif

Certainly is quite a variety, the next thing I wonder is what one drives the best, in GTA IV in my opinion the Vapid (crown vic) drove the best, good handling and faster, the Impala type was sluggish and didnt handle well. So with all these different types between the Buffalo, Vapid (Taurus type) and the old Crown Vic type which one will drive the best?

Aren't the all white cruisers Blaine County sheriffs' cars?

 

@Drewster Likely the new Vapid. In real life I believe they're the fastest standard police cars unless the Buffalo has their version of the R/T\\SRT Charger's engine. But even though I don't enjoy the cops as much as you guys, I'm definitely can't wait to try all the police cars and have a garage full.

Just a small observation, the spotlights on the police vehicles from earlier screens show them in the up position (as they were in GTA IV)...

I prefer the spotlights in the down position if they are not being used... which is possibly an indication that they will not be functional in GTA V either.

 

On the same topic, the Buffalos seen in the Online trailer have no spotlights at all...

I wonder if there is any better version of the strobe-effect like the current ELS for GTA IV PC. It would be nice if R* implemented something like that for "V" when you take a cop car, especially playing as a *cop.*

I love the blue LED strobes on cars here, not behind me of course tounge.gif but they're such nice color and effect.

Not sure if Rockstar has fixed the number's on the roof yet, I would rather have it as a three digit number rather than two digit numbers. The Uniforms of the officers in the Generic Police Buffalo and the newer Ford Interceptor looking one looks like the LSPD Uniform, if it is going to be used by LSPD, then they need to put it in the correct paint. Also: Will the Sheriff's Department (Blaine County & Los Santos County) have the Buffalo or the Ford Police Interceptor? The LSSD cruisers still need to be fixed to the correct Black & White paint. I will be fine with Blaine County Sheriff having all White Vehicles.

I'll have to disagree with changing the LSSD vehicles to black and white. I prefer having diversity amongst the police vehicles, and I don't want them all to be black and white. I simply think the livery should only be changed on the Taurus and Charger units inside Los Santos. If other departments use them (possibly Sandy Shores or North Yankton) I'm fine with the generic "police" livery.

 

Also, have these units been identified? This doesn't seem to be in Los Santos. I've seen another screenshot with black and whites chasing Trevor out in the desert too.
