GTA V Police Cars & Emergency Vehicles

I can guarantee this will be my most used vehicle.

Especially if it's completely armored (including tires).

My concern.

 

It has been confirmed in an interview that if the police see you driving a stolen car you will get a wanted level.

To avoid this you can get the plates changed or the car repainted.

 

Does this mean if we steal a cop car we need to avoid other police?

the enforcers look better, love the new charger, glad to see R* implement rotatory halogens and LEDs, don't like the fact that they didn't mention anything about a traditional free mode like 4 and RDR to roleplay on. if the cops are always going to be on, we can't roleplay as cops because they will start to shoot at us.

Maybe that's where the Editor comes in? Maybe allowing us to create our own gametypes?

 

They wouldn't just scrap free mode. It was way too popular.

I don't even think we will be able to get a hold of the police cars online because they'll just be reported stolen and you will get wanted stars. I may be wrong but from what I've seen and read about Online, it looks like it -_-

Well they did say in the trailer there is an Editor on online and I imagine you'll be able to put down a few patrol cars.

I think it's going to be like a really downgraded forge mode (if you've played Halo), where you can spawn any weapon, any vehicle, maybe a few obstacles and such, but obviously nothing like buildings or plants or other major structures such as those.

And as I said before, I could see them putting in something to design your own gametypes, in the reveal video they showcased someone creating their own race and scattering weapons and vehicles all over the place, so why wouldn't that apply to other gametypes as well? Rather than just Races and Deathmatch/Team Deathmatch?

We better be able to drive the Police Vehicles without getting a wanted star... I would be completely pissed and it would ruin single player for me. The other vehicles getting reported stolen is fine...but damn it i killed that cop and nobody will ever find his body!

I hope not as I am really only wanting to steal these cop cars and cruise around, I dont care for the super cars and stuff

Looks a lot like a San Diego Police Badge which would fit with the "San Diego in GTA V" threads and would explain why their using a generic Police logo on the side door. R* North President did say that they are looking into expanding GTAO with new locations in the new interview.

If you can't save a vehicle without getting a wanted star every time, then our only hope is that R* includes some type of game mode that allows you to RP. I really do expect something along these lines.

No I can't. That's why I'm guessing there will be some type of option to RP considering the fan base. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

The police lights do not look bright enough and do not illuminate against the surroundings, they almost look faded IMO

R* is all about giving players Friday it doesn't make sense for them to restrict players it what looks like the best most emersive gta yet

 

Also they are smart and will pay attention to what fans want and there is massive police rp community

 

I think they will allow players to customise police/emergency vehicles

 

Who knows , players might even need to do this for a heist

Would be awesome if they gave us the option to turn any car into a cop car look-a-like. Take a Cheetah into Los Santos Customs and turn that baby into a super cop car
