Charger/ Buffalo confirmed.

Highway patrol:

Charger(only seen on highways so far?)

police bike

 

Pursuit Control:

Taurus(ive only seen them when there is a high speed chase- and maybe they get called in after you get into a car and going FAST.)

 

Sheriff:

Black and White SUV(all purpose for the sheriffs department

 

White crown vic- also i have never seen in city limits- outside city limits only.

 

 

LSPD:

Crown vic- just patrols los santos on a regular basis and handles crime within the city, and small car chases.

 

 

 

Security??

 

White and green Suv- maybe a security guards vehicle? always seen near something that should be protected: Vinewood Sign; Prison etc..

Looks like 5 star wanted system is definitely confirmed. There were some doubts about that earlier.

that's actually a really good point. that could actually be it.

Or the newer police cars are used in the wealthy areas and the vic's are used in South L.S, Ganton etc.

This sort of thing maybe? If so, seems wierd for them to not follow the paint scheme of CHP for a SAHP and have that on the hood compared to their other realistic cars.

Good eye. Why would they bother adding that on there and keeping the "Police" on the side, if they're not part of the same agency?

 

My guess is it's a unique division of some sort in LSPD.

Yea, possibly its replicating a small city within Los Santos. Such as in Los Angeles there are small city departments such as Inglewood PD, Santa Monica PD, all those smaller ones as LAPD patrols mainly downtown and central LA areas. WHO KNOWS! We will find out eventually (:

the enforcers look better, love the new charger, glad to see R* implement rotatory halogens and LEDs, don't like the fact that they didn't mention anything about a traditional free mode like 4 and RDR to roleplay on. if the cops are always going to be on, we can't roleplay as cops because they will start to shoot at us.

I don't even think we will be able to get a hold of the police cars online because they'll just be reported stolen and you will get wanted stars. I may be wrong but from what I've seen and read about Online, it looks like it -_-

yeah^^^^^ I like what they are doing with the multiplayer, but i still hope it will be as simple as turning cops of in the preferences like gta 4

A few things I noticed: First, the LED lightbars have been widened when looking at them from the side angle which is great! Second, the crown vic with the old rotators is awesome looking. I am definitely not a big fan of POLICE across the doors. Looks cheesy, like a show room prototype. I love the imitation LAPD seal and wish they would just add that to the Interceptors.

That is what im worried about, this is why alot of us pushed for better Police Cars is because where we use them to play as Law Enforcement online. Rockstar needs to make it to where we can play as Law Enforcement & Military so we can have an honest way to make a living. I would want to be able to do this with the AI Law & Military because it will make it easier for us to enforce the law.
