This thread came across to me (still does, actually, no offense intended at all though) as a little nitpicky and just a strange kind of geeky, although there's nothing wrong with that. But I did find myself getting a little annoyed at the complaining sometimes. Even though I knew that the police cars could use improvements, I didn't think bitching would really help at all.

 

But it's kind of hard to argue, especially with how directly things came through, that this thread has had an impact. And the police vehicles are way, way better because of it. So, thanks guys. Thanks for bitching. Seriously, you... you earned it.

We should all be happy with the radical changes made to include LEDs and a variety of police vehicles now in the game, and not continue to whinge about tiny little details like which side the red is on the lightbars. Those people need to have a serious look at themselves and what they are doing with their lives. They do not represent a majority of people in this thread.

The only things that im concerned about at this point that is wrong with the Police Vehicles is that the numbers on the roof are not three digit numbers instead of two digit numbers they have currently, the SAHP needs to have it's own Police Car's and a Helicopter, and the Ford Police Interceptor looking one is still not in the correct LSPD paint. By the time GTA V releases, some of the Police Interceptor Sedans will be in service with the LAPD in the LAPD paint. Ambers on the rear and a California steady Red on all emergency vehicles would be nice but I would be ok without it. It would be awesome if the Ford Police Interceptor looking vehicle and the Bravado Buffalo were used by other Law Enforcement Agencies in-game Along with SAHP having it's own SWAT like real life CHP!

 

Rockstar, please fix the numbers on the roof, give SAHP Patrol Cars & Helicopters, give us Law Enforcement Uniforms for all agencies, and put the Ford Police Interceptor looking vehicle in correct LSPD paint.

Red is for pull over on the side of the road to let me by, blue is because its an emergency.

 

I for one, have never seen an ambulance with predominantly blue lights.

 

 

FDNY Ambulances have blue lights, but only on the rear.

In Canada... Well, in Quebec at least, it is illegal to have a motorized vehicle with red flashing lights unless you have an RCMP permit in a closed environment (construction site).

 

Our police have red and blue, while all other emergency vehicles (ambulance, firetruck) are only in red color.

Guys, we just need to be thankful that Rockstar even listened to us.  After all the drastic changes they made to the police cars, I got what I want!  I don't care about what other people want!  I don't even care if they made some slight mistakes to the police cars that can be easily addressed because I got what I want!  That's all that matters, it's all about me!  Everyone else who wants other changes or improvements for the police cars are a minority!  Stop complaining guys!

It is something that could help everyone online a feature like that. Not only helpful to cops, but criminals too, but when you have idiots that stay on the Realistic Steak forum and those who contribute nothing productive causing the topic to get locked, how else are we supposed to get it big enough to where Rockstar will notice it?

Because no one cares except you and a very few select other people? Leave it to modders to implement something specific like that.

One thing I am worried about though.. I still haven't seen two different types of police cars on screen at once. In GTA only one type of police car would spawn at a time.

 

If there's going to be 4-5 different types of police cars in GTA V I hope they can all spawn at the same time!

Did anyone else notice within the online gameplay video there seems to be woman police officers? In the first scene involving a police chase the driver of the third black and white appears to be a female. I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, but thought it was worth pointing out.

Possible female cop in the online trailer? At 12 seconds in the trailer, look at the driver of the last police car (first group of 3 we see) it looks to be a female, with the smaller frame and softer features.

Yeah!! This is the ONLY thing about the game that is bothering me. WHY ISN'T THE LAPD (LSPD) CITY SEAL ON THE SIDE OF MOST OF THE CITY CRUISERS. I DON'T GET IT.
