I hope they make it to where it will be just one cop sometimes in a cruiser rather than always two officers in one patrol car. If only we could ally up with the Police AI on multiplayer! GTAForums- Multiplayer AI and Affliliations

Why do you do this?

It is something that could help everyone online a feature like that. Not only helpful to cops, but criminals too, but when you have idiots that stay on the Realistic Steak forum and those who contribute nothing productive causing the topic to get locked, how else are we supposed to get it big enough to where Rockstar will notice it?

Now it's seems that police cars are just white...

Just in the county they are white with the Sheriff emblem on the side of the doors.

The Sheriff patrol car with the LED light bar is what I'm probably going to explore most of the map in. Only 2 months Thank goodness it didn't come out when it was so post to in the Spring. I still can't believe how much leave taken notice of us. We wanted better police cars with more variety and we got them. They even gave us a choice of the new LED's or the old strobes. grill and deck lights the list goes on. Hopefully the police missions are legit.

It could be one of the decorative pillars or whatever it's called on the bridge.

I still don't think the new LED bars are wide enough from the side profile. This will be really noticeable once we get the game. Hope Rockstar can correct this. Also the issue needs to be addressed that the red lights on the light bar are on driver side, blue over passenger side. I have to say the white sheriff car with the old rotator bar looks bass ass tho.

Yeah I really want the Civi version of the Crown Vic I mean Rockstar had the Merit - The civilian version of the Police Patrol, but they didn't give us a civilian version of the Vapid Police Cruiser. I think the Merit had the partition glass from the Police Patrol still there.

Dude, We've been over this a bunch of times. The police play a very important role in the Grand Theft Auto series. The police are supposed to be intimidating, when we commit a crime, they have to chase us so we want them to look good doing it. And when we go into multiplayer, we want to roleplay as a cop with the right equipment. You, my good sir, may not care like we do, but Rockstar has listened to us and they came. So as kindly as I can put it, F*@! OFF

^Preach it brethren. I Remeber when that screenshot came out with the cruiser from the gas staton ( http://media.gtanet.com/gallery/gta-5-scre...ze/e3sony_7.jpg ) and I noticed that the crown Vic looked soo much sexier because of the headlights and the rounded hood. They kept this look, and they really do look f*cking good.

 

I just still can't get over the fact that we have the privelage to be arguing/debating weather the red lights should be on the left or right, if there are too many lights, etc. If you we're to tell me back when the first trailer was released, even the second, that we would be getting modernized, realistic looking cruisers with LED lights placed where they should be, I truly would have said no way. It sows you what persistence can do.

 

Really really good work everyone. And I can not wait to get more police media/info in the future.

 

 

SIDE NOTE: we should get a database of people and their gamertags (or from the one already up) and form a police clan. I think everybody here is like minded in role-playing, and it would even be awesome to form a law enforcement crew

I agree. They fixed the emergency lighting and making them the correct color pattern in the trailer but in that bridge screenshot, the lights are reversed again. They are correct in the ATV-sheriff screenshot though. What is going on, R*?

You have to admit it is a bit ridiculous somebody would nitpick to that extent. If something that small bothers you that much then you probably should question exactly what you are doing with your life at the moment.

On Release Day, one of my absolute precedents will be commandeering the police vehicles, validating if the siren sequencing system will emulate that of Grand Theft Auto: IV (Wail, Yelp, Priority tones, and the airhorn) or if another fourth tone will be implemented. Michael will be driving through the starry-soaked night, the luminescence of the LED flickers garnering some publicity. The emergency vehicles have absolutely superseded my expectations. They have ford interceptor police cars in the game too.. its in trailer 2.. probably the best cop car they can put in there, what more can you ask for, you have the charger(buffalo), crown vic, and the interceptor,

I agree with you Rockstar stuck with what they said, this series will have more vehicles than any other GTA title. Also, we have Police motorcycles returning as well . Don't worry about the Red and Blue deal, they will fix it before release.

Not sure if it's been pointed out. If you look at the plate on the cruiser it says "SA EXEMPT", DETAILED PLATES OF COURSE.

Im thinking of trying to find an ambulance or firetruck first. They really need to reskin the Police Interceptor into the correct scheme, and make it three digit numbers on the roof's of all police vehicles.
