Can cars lose their bumpers in this game?

 

I was always mad that in GTA 4, no matter what you did, the bumpers would never fall off like in the previous GTA 3D games.

The cop car that is blown up and the ones near it are the old style without the led lightbar but later we see the newer police car with leds that still has the generic police decal on it so im guessing there will be several variations of police cars that will spawn.

 

And what is the police suv with the green decal?

in my area they typically use cruisers for 2-4 years than action them off cuz of millage. That would put the oldest ones at 08-2009 depending of the year its set in. I think 09/10 was about the time they started switching over, so if they pepper in old style with new i have no problem with it and makes it more realistic. County sheriffs are probably more behinds on the switch just cuz they have smaller budgets.

Closest cruiser has rotars, second one and SUV has a light bar and the last one also has a rotar!

 

Also good to see the city cruiser with rotar, adds some nice variety, as well as the car numbers!

Okay that's it. I'm satisfied. What more could we possibly ask for? It seems they've included everything mentioned here and more. Those Crown Vics look amazing.

 

And I guarantee that that isn't the in-game siren, and still no sight of an ambulance or fire truck or engine, but we still have the multiplayer gameplay to look forward to.

Hmm, I must that it is difficult to discern as to if the aforementioned, yellow text represents a unit delineation. Having said this, I have made two further detections. On the tail end of the interceptor apparatus, there is an American flag emblem just to the left of the right taillight; and on the right bumper, 'LSPD' is displayed in a white typeface.

In the first scene where hes driving fast through the streets of Vinewood with Police Lights, I picked up on the first vehicle.

 

Looks like the first Glimpse of LSPD SWAT hanging onto the side of the Fully Black Suburban.

Having one final look through the screenshots before I go to bed I noticed one thing that could be great news or bad news.

 

There is no huge POLICE decal on the side of this CVPI

 

Does that mean they may have changed the decals? Great news, good replica LAPD decals and a variety of light systems

 

Or that this is old and they have got rid of the rotars? Bad news, POLICE decals are in & less/no variety of lights
