Maybe the Vapid LCPD Cruiser and the Brute Ambulance are placeholder (BETA Cars) for new improve emergency vehicles?

 

 

I bet since the 2nd Trailer they improved all emergency vehicles. The Ambulance looks like copy-and-paste from GTA IV

We want Police Clothes on multiplayer, not everyone can afford a super computer. Explain to me how it is that hard to copy a uniform from one of the Officers and make it as an outfit for multiplayer.

It's a myth you need a cutting edge supercomputer to run IV though, it can run on a 3-4 year old system without any issues if set up right, Okay. the launch was a disaster, but they did fix the problems (mostly), it runs on whatever you throw at it, provided it's over the minimum specs (some below may run it....barely). A $900-$1000 computer can run IV at playable frames, compared to when it launched when you DID need a supercomputer to get it into double digit frames.

 

Oh and while I'm on that subject, the constant Youtube comments of 'omg can u do dis for xbox and ps3?', for any mods.....answer? No. Not now, and unless there's a huge breakthrough, not in the console's lifetime. I just wish people would understand A: modding is mostly a PC thing and b. you can use X360 controle pads with PC games.

 

As for how hard it'd be? Wouldn't be that hard. Then you'd have people whining it's MP exclusive. So? That's what people wanted isn't it?

Can anyone slow down the gif? In particular I'm interested in the flash pattern of the 2nd police car. Looks like it has a different flash pattern than the 1st car (the one we can see the most of, including the grille lights).

 

The first car clearly has alternating red/blue half bars while the 2nd car seems to have a more typical code 3 LED pattern.

Why not have police clothing? I believe playing as a cop would be a great side mission to earn money. We had it but it was not the greatest, other cops would shoot at you and it did not seem realistic. I say go for the uniform!

I think it's fair to say that most of the people here are fetishizing police cars.

 

With the new lighting systems unveiled in the trailers and new screenshots, we should all be more than satisfied.

Yes I am one of those idiots. GTA IV had a Liberty Sanitation Department uniform available in single player, but does that make it a garbage truck simulator?

 

Nobody is forcing you to wear the uniform (unless needed for a mission of course). Certainly adding the police uniform to wear in single/multiplayer modes would please a lot of people, minus you.

Suddenly being a official cop just because you put on an uniform sounds much more unrealistic, no GTA protagonist is going to join the force, the Vigilante missions are exactly what their name implies, the only unrealistic part about them were the money bounties out of nowhere after you eliminated a target, it was totally justified to get a wanted level for taking the law in your own hands. A police uniform for disguising and etc. sounds fine to me though.

*FACEPALM* What about Tenpenny? Having a GTA storyline where you play as a corrupt cop doing contract work for crime bosses and other individuals (if the pay is good of course). Hell, you wouldn't even have to be a Patrolman, be a Detective or an Undercover agent gone corrupt, turning the blind eye, doing dark deeds for others.
