The blue "van" is a train. This screenshot was taken at the same farm in the screenshot that shows the Cuban 200 flying over a coastal highway.

Is it me, or does that blue thing looks like the Combine Harvester thing from GTA:SA?

There has been zero indication that police AI has been improved. No one can claim that until we see actual gameplay, which means after release.

Fort Hood is one of the biggest if not the biggest military bases in the US. I don't think the military base in V would need their own police. Tho it would be cool to see MP.

In case anyone didn't notice: Also, update: There is mounts for AR's, one department has MP5's on their motor units.

This (crappy) topic got me thinking... how freakin awesome would it be to have mounted police in the game; in the countryside, mountains (with the park rangers) or riding down the sidewalks in the city, etc. Ahh that would be soo cool!

After watching the latest trailers for the 1000th time, I discovered something that I don't think has been mentioned yet... correct me if I'm wrong.

 

In Franklin's trailer from the 1:59 mark, there is a lot of police action. This includes the Taurus-based cruiser which when played frame-by-frame, you can see headlights and tail/reverse lights flashing.

 

I must say Rockstar really have nailed the light setup on the cruisers. Just watching the latest trailers we can confirm the following:

- LED lightbars

- Mirror LEDs

- Pushbar LEDs

- Rear interior LEDs

- Hide-A-Way LEDs in headlights and tail/reverse lights

 

A HUGE improvement from GTA IV's single halogen lightbar with non-functioning traffic advisor.

I missed a month of posts because I was on military training and didn't have access to the internet.

 

I don't know about you but I don't have the time to sit down and go trawling through pages and pages of posts to find out if something had already been mentioned. So what if it has? It's not the end of the world.

That would be nice, in GTA 4 you could barely hear what dispatch was saying.

Would be cool if you could just have a LS police scanner in your car (like when you're preparing a heist or just wanna hear what's going on)
