Look at the bottom pic #6  Ok i Know people were saying the vapid crusier is back and i have solid proof of this  On the new cruisers the Vapid logo is on the bottom right corner on the Boot/Trunk of the Vehicle  and on the CVPI it is directly on the top center of the Boot/Trunk of the Vehicle  Sorry if pics are too big  user posted image  user posted image

But will they have police in bold letters on the side? Or will it have the realistic seal.

Does that really matter? Gosh

Yes it does, It adds to the realism

No. We have enough realism right now, we don't need no police simulator. It's just a matter of difference in layout and writing, does it really matter? No. Anyway, we are like 4 months away from release, it's bound to be improved anyway.

It does matter because they need proper decals that relate to the City. At the moment the decals are the demonstrator ones they used when they first made the modern police. I trust Rockstar to put the LSPD/LAPD decals on them like they ALREADY have with the Police Chopper and Vapid CVPIs

I was happy with how they were in IV, I don't think they need to be any better in the way of sirens, strobes and other equipment but perhaps make them faster than say a Taxi or the normal car version, just crank the power up a few notches to give them a bit more attitude so its like this is a Police car not just a normal sedan with strobe lights and stripes.

 

Also I own an ex Police car myself, just had to add that.

The ones in IV were good at the time , but its 2013 now and most of the equipment will be outdated, so it was about time they take it up a notch with the cruisers

Read my last sentence lol. Since we are still 4 months away from release, they will obviously improve it and make it realistic. I don't think there is anything to worry about, besides these screens must have been taken in January or something like that.

Agreed, Just like the old Pay n Spray they most likely wont touch the stolen police cars. Hopefully R* has civilian versions of all the police cars this time around.

What I noticed in the new trailers, is there were no LSPD and "Obey & Survive" logo with bigfoot on any the cars. It just says POLICE on the side

I Think its based 2012-2013 Present Day

Well they are using the 2012 Ford interceptor-type in gta 5 and LAPD is barely making

the transition from crown vic's to dodge charger ppv's so it might be 2013,2014.

Id love to see them put in the new Ford Fuzion, a lot of departments are using those, Mass State Police are using them. To tell you the truth, departments use every car you can imagine for unmarked's.

True, I'm from Wichita Ks. One of our police departments purchased a bunch of 2012 Honda Civics for Undercover and Marked cars... It's just 2 funny seeing a police badge of the side of a CIVIC lol We have the Tahoe/Dodge charger/ they also bought a bunch of the last year crown vics. Dodge challengers... I REALLY hope they make a Dodge charger CHP or Sheriff.

I agree with you about the new LED bars not being wide enough...I'm computer handicapped lol..Can you post a picture of an actual LED bar from a side view and post the GTA view where you tell the bar isnt wide enough. From the side the bar will look like crap if it is not corrected. People will definetly notice this small detail. It will really look bad on side view. Thanks!

Plus the new LED light bars are sick looking but LAPD does use the Arjent light bars with the red a blue plastic tops on them. Either way I hope Rockstar adds the clear take down lights on the front of the bars also, along with working spot lights. So when police are chasing you they can light the interior of your vehicle up, Or if you pass a motor vehicle stop at night you see the spot light illuminating the vehicle...Would be rediculous
