I wonder which actors/actress' will be in this game...I was suprised that GTA IV really had no "big" name actors in it while the series has had the likes of Ray Liotta, Samuel "Motherf*cking" Jackson ect ect. And being set in LA, I could imagine alot of celeb cameos. Rockstar said they were "re-inventing" the GTA landscape didn't they? well that would be alot different than what we saw in IV..this game's going to have a totally different feel

So I just watch the Demo Reel for this guy "Ned Luke" and he sounds EXACTLY like the voice on the trailer. He even has the same nose and haircut as the older guy in the trailer. I'm betting money that he is the guy talking.

It says, mountains are not scaleable and even if you go around beaches with a boat you'll be met with endless mountains...

 

not saying it's true or anything, but I just hope and PRAY this isn't true. Especially what they wrote about the old guy being the protagonist!

 

The one thing I hope is true is that Los Santos is about the same size as III era San Andreas, and it's twice as big as RDR.

So, this partially has to do with the trailer and the game in general. I am playing SA right now and a commercial came on the radio saying "San Andreas is the place people come to escape their past" or whatever. Seems to really fit into what the protag of V is trying to do. Thought it was kind of interesting, though I guess the same could have been said about LC in IV as well.

Hi. With regards to that *rumoured* picture of the map. I think I might have found something possibly interesting.

 

On the first pic we see a winding road in the background. Well if you look at the map (Pic [2]) you can see a road that follows that same pattern, and their structure is very similar too.

Could be something?

If this is true, then that road is the length of just under 1/2 Los Santos? Los Santos would have to be a lot bigger to be the only city.

The Mile High Club is under construction in the game. We can come to know of the year, the game is set in by finding out when the original building was in construction.

The game is set in modern day so while it isn't necessary that it's set in 2012 or 2011, it's most likely to be after IV so 2008-2012 is the time the game is set in, unless the game progresses over a few years like some have speculated. And remember that even though the skyscraper is under construction in the game, it is Rockstars version of it doesn't have to be build in the same year as in real life

I haven't said anything about that there's harm in finding about it. I just pointed out that it may not have anything to do with nothing about the year the game's set in and that we already know it's set in modern day.
