And check out the new graphics. Heat/jet stream effect coming off the Helicopter engine and the Fighter Jet exhaust!!

I'm going to be working on this all day, please be patient as I didn't even expect the trailer to be of such revealing gravity. I was expecting a sort of watered-down monologue. There's a sea of information in this so I'll try to organize it as best as I can.

Hope my slow-mo footage is of assistance... I listend off some random sh*t I saw a few posts up.

Has anyone wondered how much of what we saw were simply cut scenes/scripted?

 

Yes, but to be fair alot of things in cut scenes are normally in-game as well, or has been the case in past games.

 

 

Am I the only one who sees this as an updated graphical CJ?

 

When I watched the trailer I thought it was CJ, but now that we have a static picture, I think it isn't him because of the face, he was never that chubby cheeked even if you went overboard eating burgers.

 

 

The picture of the beach, while I admit it could be Los Santos does make me think more of vice city, obviously it's conjecture but I wonder if they would have pushed the engine limits so much further into having a few missions in some areas of VC in the same way as the gta:sa had those LC missions.

 

The mountainous scene with the forest trees etc looks sort of like a hollywood painted scene background, slightly unreal, obviously that can be the GTA style but is it just a place for photos to be taken.

 

Finally, while I don't know much about the real cities such as LA, isn't in nearer las vegas and san francisco etc that the oil fields are implying that it is the entire state? Though R* confirmed it's set in San Andreas, but of course as someone previously pointed out Los Santos is 'IN' San Andreas and it may be their wording is designed to trick you.

 

Personally (and okay this isn't trailer based) my main feeling is that it should all be made completely by R* North (pc,ps and xbox), and should therefore play the same on all machines, I personally have gone through three high-specced next gen PCs since the original gta4 was released and I still haven't had a pc that runs it without tons of bugs and graphics glitches (EFLC was alot better).

 

Wonder if we can drive trains again

That car has a Übermacht badge (GTA parody of BMW) so yeah, it's definitely based on the Z4.

 

 

If the game is indeed set in the whole state, then I'm not sure we'll have one trailer for each city. GTA SA's first trailer featured only LS but the second one didn't show only SF or LV, but the entire state (with Welcome to the Jungle for the music)

Male protagonist, who isn't a native of San Andreas/Los Santos, he has a family which made him wish to retire from devious dealings, but he is seemingly drawn back into this lifestyle, why? Well, you know how it is.

Not native from Los Santos, slightly older (father by the sounds of it). White male. Present day...Could he be the MC from Vice City several years later??

It may put to rest those critics who expected the next relase to be set in VC. plus perhaps you can still revisit it in a side mission like you did in the last San Andreas game when you flew to Liberty City...

Even the taxi's and police cars from gta 3 had the "ford" logo on the front.

I have a few breakdowns of this but just one random one i might share is that We play as Tommy Vercetti from Vice City, HEAR ME OUT... VC was set in the 80s and it is now 2011 so maybe the middle aged white guy we see is just an aged Tommy who is looking too settle down and leave his crime life behind and moves to Vinewood, The black guy kinda resembles CJ.... maybe they cross paths? and Tommy is slung back into the underworld of crime, anyway the game looks like it is going to be amazing

 

or i could be wrong and instead its a new story but one thing i am very confident is that NIKO BELLIC will be making an appearance, a Plane Ticket can be seen which says NIKO BELLIC, LIBERTY CITY TO SAN ANDREAS.... its in some video that if u rearrange some pictures on the website it u can see it the link to it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yoLIDKJcQs so i think Niko will cross paths with the main protagonist in this which will be interesting

These all seem to be possible features in the game, i also saw a blimp at the start and the end, hopefully that is drivable hahaha that should be interesting

Could this be the mc? i don't know but i swear i seen him a few times in the trailer i'm a go re watch it but i think hes also in the red car with the convertible top and getting out of the van with a gas mask on, but that older guy was seen a few times maybe it is true that there will be more then 1 mc.( nvm sure that isn't him in the red car cuz i don't see tattoos on his arm there.)

Yes the guy whose is followed by police looks like upgraded CJ i think It should be logical to meet CJ in Los Santos BUT CJ has to be older than in SA and this guy doesnt like much older.

in 0:56 the shadow maybe looks like pyramide in LV isnt it ?

But it is probably some Mountin or hill.

Is the high mountain Mt. Chilliad ? if not it is new highest mountain in SA.

 

This is only my opinion but i LOVE the country side. Lets imagine what fun should be there with enduro/dirt bike. I am absolutely quaked it is impressive .

Licenses plates contain the name of the state, San Andreas.

 

But the robbery van has the name Las Palmas on the license plate. Is it possible that there is another state other than San Andreas that has it's own cities ? That maybe has Vice City ?

I'm 99.9% sure the license plate on the van says 'San Andreas'. It Just looks like 'Las Palmas' because its blurred.
