First of all, is there anyone who read this entire thread? I guess not, this is why this is a crappy thread.

 

Besides that, did anyone notice the red car in the trailer. When this girl walks on the road in front of him the guy in the car he steps on the gas when in neutral. Does this mean anything? does this mean we can do this in game?(not by braking and accelerating at the same time)

Adding gears would be silly

But an option between automatic and [insert word and i can't think of] would be good.

how on earth could it be possible?

erm? Go to game controls/settings and choosing if you want your gears to be automatic or manual?

or you can just hold the handbrake then press the acceleration button?That's the trick I use.

He's talking about the button layout I think. And that will indeed get a bit harder as most buttons are fully assigned already.

It's probably already been brought up somewhere on these 300 pages, but I'm just thinking if this is a road heading to the other side of the mountain? Or is it just the way the mountain is shaped?

It seems to be a road. You can actually see a tunnel in the mountain, so it's very possible that we will be able to go across them with road vehicles.

We can expect how big the map will be with these.

It seems like a hill tunnel. IMO hills have developed terrain to accomodate roadways to remote and unreachable areas. Also there must be some camping spot like we saw some mountaineers in the trailer. Most likely the mountain and peak will be a remake of chillad.

The main character says that he went to LS so he could live relaxed, and that he bought a big house. This hints the beginning of the game! Because if he planned to live chilled and BOUGHT a big house, this means that you start the game with a good economic position, therefore you lose the money at some point, who knows the reason, and that's why the game "focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar".

IMO, you seem to have a point my friend. But it depends on the multiple protagonists things. If we start as the guy Ned Luke is supposed to play then we will have a good economic and social position. If you look at the game from modding point of view, the files will be huge because of the player changing, so as his features, at some point of storyline or other.

For me, he is the most probable character to be the protagonist. Not only from what he said - he looks like he have a wife, kids and a past criminal life -, but from his voice, that match very well to his appearance. That voice doesn't match to the black guy running from the cops or the mexican man in the red convertible car.

For me, he is the most probable character to be the protagonist. I think it's more a question of whether the narrator is the protagonist, either. I get the feeling he is, but we can't really know for sure; he could just be a very significant character, and his narration is there for the purpose of representing the game's theme. But I don't think people should assume one way or the other. We don't have many solid answers when it comes to GTA V.

I thought that myself, maybe this time we'll start out in one of the more affluent areas which would make a nice change from previous GTAs. Only VC came close to having you start in the 'nice' area of a city and even then you were living out of a hotel ha!
