Guys, please take a look at Rockstar's Latest Newswire article

 

It has a link under the word ' soundtrack ' , which, apparently, is the second trailer they have released for that game. I know it's very likely to just be a coincidence, but no one says we cannot speculate on the matter. So, what would that be ?

that is SA trailer 2, where they first showed SF and LV! I dunno but, this could be a real big hint. I bet ya, this is a major hint

It's a major hint that Guns N' Roses - who were also inducted into the Hall of Fame - was the soundtrack to that trailer.

so Guns n Roses wasnt induced until NOW???

To be eligible for the Rock hall of fame your band has to have been around for a minimum of 25 years. GNR formed back in 87, which was 25 years ago. So yeah, to get in they'd have to have waited until now.

 

Edit:

 

My bad, on second check it has them forming back in 85. First album wasn't til 87 though.

ah, i didnt know that. but its still a possible hint, because they had more trailers of which the artist has been induced. and why even post the soundtrack video in the first place? i think its still fishy...

Noticed how R* said: to the first GTA V trailer monocle.gif They used "First" so obviously there will be a second colgate.gif They could have said "recently to the GTA V trailer".

You guys are looking too deep into this. For me It's quite obvious, it just shows a road in a desert, meaning that GTA V not only gonna be set in cities. I personaly think he didn't have any info about v, it just was his guess.

A nice touch I noticed recently when watching the trailer again was a few pairs of hanging shoes on some power cables in the scene with the black guy running from the cops.

A good example of R*'s attention to detail.

Judging from the short pursuit in the video, their going to be using the same body style for the police cars as they did in GTA IV. They add all these new cars with improved graphics for better looking body styles and they keep the same old crappy crown vic wanna be looking cop car....

A good example of R*'s attention to detail.

I'm pretty sure that here in the UK, sneakers hanging over a power cable means that the house belongs to a drug dealer. Additionally, if there are stilettos it means prostitutes live inside. It would be cool if it worked like that in GTA V but I doubt it, especially since it most likely has a different meaning in US.

Where I'm from it represents there being a drug dealer in the street it's apparent.

 

It's related to crime anyhow.

We may both be right:

 

A newsletter from the mayor of Los Angeles, California cites fears of many Los Angeles residents that "these shoes indicate sites at which drugs are sold or worse yet, gang turf.

 

Remember that GTA 5 will be based in Los Santos (LA) or San Andreas as a state (California).

LOL at the comment that refers to that movie I forgot the name of. Just incase anyone didn't understand, my analysis is that drugs may play a bigger part in the game than they have before.

But the car in the trailer is the 90's body style, not the 2000's like the picture.

 

But it has the grille of the more recent models. I don't see much people complaining about the past GTAs mish-mashed cars; the Oceanic being a 1955 Oldsmobile + a 1961 Dodge, even worse the GTA III bus which was an 80s IH school bus + 60's GM bus + a generic 1940s Streamline Moderne bus rear. A lot of these cars are abominations to car design trends but when its a police car, its too far?

LOL It might be set there, but the Pink Swan thing will still be BS. Back in the Genesis thread we pick the pics to pieces and found the pre-photoshopped origins to all of them.
