Even clearer proof that it's gonna be October. I mean, normally GTA games Are set in the month that they come out.

Really? GTA IV set in autumn and came out on the 29. of April.

However, GTA IV was originally scheduled to be released on the 16th October which does fit the autumn setting.

Sorry, I didn't know that.

Alright, everybody place their bets. I'm saying the Ned Luke guy is the protag. I don't want to see anybody avoiding the subject or acting like they agreed all along when I'm proven to be right.

I swear that the guy on the Jetski is the same person in the foreground at 00:53. Ned Luke is the balcony guy but the balcony guy is not the protag! It's someone who [iMO] we haven't seen yet, only heard.

In IV's first trailer it had Niko narrating it plus showed his image. I think its safe at this point to claim Ned as the protag.

It's not like you came up with that idea.

Reacting to some posts few pages back. If the Hispanic looking dude is the protag then why

didn't we hear a hispanic sounding narrator? (and do not explain to me it is because thats definitely not a hispanic voice) 99.999% of the time the voice being displayed in gta trailers is the main guy. Well, you could say since GTA IV but then again IV also definitively showed us in the 1st trailer that niko was the MC. If the "Ned Luke" guy is not the MC in GTA V i'll be shocked, cause R* will have thrown a

huge curveball at us. He also doesn't seem to be too much older than Tommy V in vice city. So lets get that bs out of the way, who says

old guys can't kick a$$?

He did sound hispanic at the beginig of trailer, but i dont even think that narrator is protagonist.

The narrator says: "Why did i move here? I guess it was the weather..." so he is the protagonist. It's not very difficult to understand...

It was supposed to come out in the fall, it got delayed.

I don't know what fall looks like in LA but I didn't see one brown leaf in the trailer.

That's what I thought, especially the beach scene, it looks like summer to me.

But otherwise, is this good proof for an October release? I'm not sure myself whether to believe this or 2504.

Um how is a plate sticker even proof that the game takes place in October? Do you think people get them changed every month or something?

Same goes for the other people. There is one on the jetski (could also be the same guy where he went across a street; with red sunglasses), another one in the red sports car (was even shown twice in the trailer; chased by police) and the then the one, who ran away from police (if he is not the same as the guy in the red sport car).

And there is also one hispanic like on the mountain with two girls. Probably just random pedestrians though.

(im new here) so i was reading a bit just cause im really interested and cant wait for this game to come out, and whilst reading i remember that many games if not all are released on a Tuesday, with the exception of some continents/countries. For example GTA:IV was released on the 29 April 2008, That was a Tuesday, San Andreas, on a Tuesday, this is the same with many Call of Duty games as well, CHECK FOR YOURSELVES, so anyway if this game is going to be released it will most likely be a Tuesday

the 24/5 which is seen on the trailer because the 24th of may is a Thursday

The 16th of October this year is a Tuesday which is a good date, so that maybe it

All i can say for now is any Tuesday from April forward is the likely date!

Actually that sticker means the expiry of the license plate registration. Given that the right sticker is orage (which was used in 2008), the game is set before Oct 2008, but I don't think it is such crucial. They've told us it will be present day, plus or minus one year doesn't matter.

While I do think the guy on the balcony is likely to be the protagonist, it's not a proof. In RDR's first trailer, Drew McFarlane says something like "I've lived here for 30 years now". So for all we know, he can be a secondary character giving you missions as well.

so lemme get this straight: there are countless references to 24 may, and you think its october because of one licence plate? really?

Not really the same though. Drew was talking about the West and weaving his own life into it, whereas Ned is talking solely about himself. Ned's not talking about the world around him, he's talking about himself.

Ned is the protag all the way. There's no way it can't be.

No, the older man on the balcony looks exactly like Ned Luke, so it is not anyone else.
