So there probably will be more than 1 airports.

the airports have to be from a city, though. otherwise it wouldnt make sense to include them.

"If there are no other airports than LS, planes wont be necessary, so i put an airport that leads to nothing on the map. now it makes sense to include them." would just not make any sense. why include an airport if it doesnt lead anywhere? and why include a plane if there's only one airport?

no way. things get deleted if there are possible reminders or references to it in the game, not if 12 yr olds can replay it in the game. you cant ban planes from games based on NY lol.

if so they should've banned planes from Flight Simulator games, which are games were you can fly all over the world with a plane, because you can fly to NY and fly into a skyscraper.

Care to post this supposed interview? It gets tossed around a lot, but no one has ever actually produced it as far as I know. There was a great article on Kotaku a couple days ago that explained what was removed because of 9/11: the police car was changed to look less like NYPD, one mission was removed, a non-interactive jumbo jet flying around was removed because from a certain angle it looked like it passed through a building, some references to terrorism and a couple other small things. No mention of the Dodo getting it's wings clipped. Though with a name like Dodo, I wouldn't expect it to fly anyway.

There were 4 airports in GTA San Andreas.

 

Just 1 on GTA IV, and a smaller map with no countryside... No point having planes

 

Helicopters are different because you can land on multiple buildings and smaller surfaces.

I dont thik 9/11 had a thing to do for why planes are not in IV, planes cannot even be near the skyline in New York. Why do you think every fire fighter at 9/11 thought it was weird to see one moments before it hit the North Tower.

I recently downloaded the jpg version of the trailer just in case I find any new thing that hasn't been mentioned before. It turned out that in the scene where the cops are chasing the black guy, a bush is appearing from nowhere at the very back of the place.

 

Surely the game needs further work as it can also be seen in the trailer. Obviously, all of the scenes were scripted to look like that, I hardly can believe that such variety among pedestrians' behaviour will occur. (i.e. the guy who puts a table in front of his house, tramps messing around under the overpass, jerk being thrown out of Tequi-la-la, etc.).

 

Also, in the "Audi R8" scene when he gets near Glory Holes, it looks as if the city isn't completed yet. Huge hollowness fills the space between buildings, and that isn't fog, for sure. Anyways, proper job needs time, so I'm being patient.

I don't believe that so much polish would be done to characters and cars if the city wasn't done yet, when in a recent interview Dan Houser said, the first thing they do development wise, is the city, (I can't remember what interview, but surely someone else here has read it too, and can confirm.) As far as the "Fog" in the Glory Hole store front scene, I believe there is something hidden there, cause that is too big of a mess up for R* to overlook, when they knew almost everyone would analyze the hell out of the trailer. Also, texture pop in with trees and bushs are normal in every sandbox game.
