Some people have been saying that the plane leaving LC there is the one that we see in the V trailer but it isnt. It has blue streaks on it when the one in V doesn't.

LC is the GTA equivalent to New York. New York City is in New York State; so it stands to reason (and is confirmed by the license plates) that Liberty City is in Liberty State.

Doesn't anyone think it's weird that Rockstar hasn't said a word about V? I'm not talking about new info, about V in general. Couple of tweets, couple of posts on Facebook and their website. Absolutely nothing. Not even like "We're excited about V" or "More info soon", NOTHING. I'm not even excited anymore. It's like when I watch the trailer, nothing happens to me anymore. The occasional "Everything is good" tweet or post couldn't hurt, you know?

yh, LS in GTA V resembles LS in SA wayy more than LC in IV resembles LC in III. looks like they didnt make a lot of changes

Hello everybody, I've been reading the forum for a while, and I decided to comment here.

 

First of all, I'd like to put an interesting thing I saw in the trailer.

 

1. El Burro might be in the game.

 

 

As you can see, in the part of the trailer in which we can see a Vader, in the background, there's a club called "Tequi-la-la". And as you know , this is one of the first Easter Eggs in the game, although the name is based on the Mexican liquor tequila. The name can also be a parody of the club "Whiskey a Go Go" in Los Angeles.

 

But, in GTA I, the second chapter of San Andreas is called "Tequila Slammer" (coincidence?), and in the last mission, we need to meet El Burro in a club, and what we see is this..."thing"...:

 

 

So, Rockstar said that characters of past "Eras" won't appear again, heh? BULLSH*T!

 

El Burro: Main character in GTA I, Minor Character in GTA III, Easter Egg in GTA IV.

Lazlow: Support character in GTA III, Support character in GTA IV.

Claude: Protagonist in GTA II, Protagonist in GTA III, Easter Egg in GTA IV.

 

So, don't give up, Carl Johnson might appear again, cuz he's already appear as an Easter Egg in GTA IV.

there are lots of people who want Tommy, Cj or Claude back.

I am not one of these people. these protagonists have their closure within their game(s) and certain GTA universe.

 

also, I heavily doubt R* would do a move like that, bring back any of these guys.
