Site crash?

Hi there, so just right now I was browsing the V forum, and I noticed the images weren't coming up. After a refresh, they did come up but they came up as question marks. Here's a screenie:

 

 

Logo isn't showing up either, as well as other x's. The forum logo isn't visible in gen-chat either, but so are the little icons next to each thread.

 

Anyone else having this problem? Is it because of the high-traffic? I'm pretty sure something like this happened back when IV was released, but I've heard a couple of mods say the forum is prepared now.

Of course there will be a strain on the servers, some images may not fully load when the load is massive.

Theres over 6200+ users on the network at the moment.

Anyway, gtaforums held up surprisingly well, with more than twice as many connections than ever before it help up fine. Pretty impressive stuff.

Agreed, the larger text looks much less neat.

This font is annoying, and is giving me headaches. Please change it back as soon as possible.

We have just set the font size half way between the old and new size. Once we get more feedback we will re-evaluate the size.

Aww, excuse my ignorance... I just thought that the larger font sizes had something to do with the huge influx of members we've been getting due to the fact that the GTA V trailer was just released.

 

What I mean is - Ton of traffic, forum bugs.

I don't know how these statistics are going to be factored, but if it makes any difference I would greatly prefer the original font sizes.

that same issue is happening to me on google chrome only.

After google chrome auto updated theres been many bugs.

Everything looks the same to me, i don't see any difference in font and the size of text, dunno how it looks to the rest of you. Maybe a pic?

 

I'm running Firefox 3.6 at 1280x1024, zoom is at 100% and i'm on PC.

I did a few hard refreshes and it showed up...at first I didnt like but its growing on me!

Looks cool.
