ceerup Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 How high are your expectations for GTA V...for me personally im hyping this game up to be big, i know alot of people didnt like GTA 4 because it was all detail and the gameplay wasnt as strong as it can be But here is what i think will happen since Rockstar listens to their players... I think the Detail in the game will still be good im going to throw a guess out there and say the mechanics will be similiar to Red Dead Redemption (maybe better) which were good Im hoping the Multiplayer which was fun...is organized this time around Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

zeppelincheetah Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 as far as narrative and characters I don't care cause GTA IV pretty much ruined that in my mind. i'm curious how V will be a major leap forward from IV. Obviously if it's released on current gen consoles it's not going to be graphics. There must be some big shift in gameplay/mission structure that makes it stand out from IV. If it's basically just GTA IV in a different city oh well, it's still GTA, my favorite series. The main thing above all i'm excited about is a new map! I'm really tired of Liberty City. I've been exploring the same city for more than 3 years now. I remember when it first came out I thought it was so huge that I would never be familiar with it, but after about a year I knew it as well as any other GTA map, save for San Andreas. I still don't know where everything is in that monster of a map - especially the countryside. Plunk me down in Los Santos and I know my way around pretty well. Same goes for San Fierro and Las Venturras (to a lesser extent), but anywhere in the countryside I still get lost. I expect the map to be bigger than Liberty City. I'm expecting a big rush through my whole body when I touch the case Honeslty, I'm expecting them to have picked their game up A LOT. I expect to be blown out of the water on this one, the big 5th game in the series. However the manage to keep the gameplay longer, I'll love it. Slightly larger map, maybe even an international border. Airplanes will be back. A much more engaging, original, and lengthier storyline. Deeper moral choices. A enhancement to the color pallet and gfx engine as well as phxs. RPG elements. City revenue and property purchase. and much much more i am sure. Especially since Rockstar has released some great games since GTA IV like RDR. If V has an immersive storyline and amazing AI (currently its sh*t even IV's a crap) thats equally challenging and tough missions, I will continue to follow GTA series. At the same time, I know that I can trust Rockstar, especially after the ever-building content they've been producing and I've been jizzing over for these past few years, and it will probably be one giant leap from IV's games. With that said, I expect it to be the best GTA ever, combing reasonable elements that people loved in the previous games, no matter where it's set, and no matter how characters we play as. GTAknowledge Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 - A longer story than previous GTA games. - Better Graphics then any Rockstar game. - As much fun things to do after the missions are finished as SA had. - A map with cities the size of IV and countryside the size of SA. - Good and Bad endings (happy and sad). - Greater AI overall. - Characters from older games to be important in the storyline. - Ability to use money on more things and of course buying properties. Gangs actually would, there was only 2 gangs in IV and it wasn't even vanilla it wasn't til TLAD. Unless you count those douche bag russians around your first safehouse that shoot you if you shoot anyone/anything. I hope its a real trailer though and not a 20 second clip to keep you wondering for a month.
