GTAknowledge Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 Two words: HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!! Man I can't wait for this game to come out and to see the trailer November 2nd. IT'S GOING TO ROCK! I really hope the green V logo is hinting to San Andreas and that CJ is either the main character or a supporting character. I hope it's not in London, that would just seem awkward. Besides, everyone I know hates the old London GTA game so why would they put it in London? If it's London, DC, or not San Andreas I'll be mad. I hope the location is either San Andreas, or a brand new, made up city. London would be boring compared to places like LA. Some have said Washington, and that also seems like a boring place. Only map that was good was San Andreas (was so diverse), but Vice City although small had a good feel to it aswell. Liberty City would well.....i don't know. I don't find that very true, though. What of the people that live in the countryside surrounding London? (Like rich bastards in Surrey.) Not to mention Land Rover was a UK car. Still, I find too many similarities between London and NYC spiritually to see GTA V or GTA VI taking place there. Mikeol1987 Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 I don't know if anyone has noticed this already, so I apologize if it has already been stated, but a friend of mine pointed out that the blank space in the logo seems to form the shape of eagles, which he believes leans towards Washington D.C. There seems to be a lot of evidence pointing towards Los Santos or L.A. because of the supposed leaks but this makes for an interesting argument that it could be otherwise. I don't know if that space was intentional or purely coincidence but it is a very interesting find none the less. its just the flagged end of a normal scroll looking thing I think this picture demonstrates what I mean, left hand side. I'm sick of L.A. based games. It's been done to death, but If it's GTA it's GTA. It's definitely an American city. What I would like is ANYTHING other than what's been done before. Washington D.C. would be alright - working for crooked congress members or something. Boston or Detroit or Chicago would also be nice. I would really love Chicago. I've actually been there 5 times. It can't be DC. I've been saying this a lot. The tallest building is the Washington Monument. The second tallest is only 329 feet high (100 m) There has to be skyscrapers in GTA. Grand Theft Auto IV: Liberty City? we didn't need the location in the name, because 4 was a new Universe. i don't know if R* will follow that whole "new universe" stuff again, but it seems a bit unneccessary to list a location and a number... unless you mean that the V will just disappear...then i guess that could make sense, as this could just be GTA: Next rather than 5. personally...i'd like to see 5...
