It could be a repeat city as well, at some point they will run out of cities and have to start repeating them, otherwise they'd have to keep finding new cities which would become increasingly obscure so GTA XII will be something like GTA Mobile, Alabama, don't see it somehow. Why would they write "five" as well on the "V"? This has to mean that the V is a letter, not a roman numeral, that stands for a city, I think it will be Vice City and it might even be Venturas who knows. The money theme means that R* will make a parody of the recession and I am sure they will have a bigger map. Perhaps it will be R*'s version of Miami, Ft. I really didn't expect this announcement I just hope my works firewall will let me access the site when it's released. On topic, I don't think the logo hints towards any city, it hints more towards the storyline being all about the money, the pattern inside the five is typical of printing found on banknotes. Yes, green is the colour of Grove street, but more so it's the colour of money. I tend to agree with you, it seem repetitive to have the roman numeral for 5 ( V ) and have the written word "five" on the scroll. I think they will keep the V behind the scroll and instead of "five" written on the scroll, it will be the location of the next GTA. if it's going to list the location as part of the name, why use the number 5? Grand Theft Auto IV: Liberty City? we didn't need the location in the name, because 4 was a new Universe. i don't know if R* will follow that whole "new universe" stuff again, but it seems a bit unneccessary to list a location and a number... unless you mean that the V will just disappear...then i guess that could make sense, as this could just be GTA: Next rather than 5. personally...i'd like to see 5... Most likely the logo will stay the same but perhaps the "five" is stating the new era and the "V" is stating the name of the location. Ex. Vice / Venturas. Just a guess anyways, no one knows yet. It would be SA-style.Although I voted for Los Santos, I'm pretty sure whatever place Rockstar choose, they will do a great job. I know this is confusing for someone from outside of the USA, but Washington DC is on the other side of the country from Washington State. I mean, looking at it, it's really ambiguous and the only thing I can see from it is that it's a V with some pattern used to stop money counterfeiters. Dublin is small. Small buildings no skyscrapers, nothing eventful ever happens. Rarely any gangs with guns. Guns are basically non existent here. The Gardai (Irish Police), don't even carry weapons. Certainly no military here (that does anything) and also we don't use pounds!!!! We use Euro! And Euro aint green and it doesn't even say the word Five on it! Belfast is worse for a game tbh. No offence if you live there but seriously Ireland is no place for a game setting, especially a GTA. I think it will be either Las Venturas or Los Santos, both would be awesome locations but im secretly hoping for Las Venturas setting since I just visited Las Vegas this past Summer. If it was Vice City, I think that the logo would use more brighter colours (pinks, purples), in my opinion. I think that the possibility of a new location is also very high.
