I think you got me wrong. I wondered that the ordinary R* site is gone, i. e. I can't get to the LA Noire section on rockstargames.com

That might be more to do with the fact there is no need to access the LA Noire section now that we have a proper game to look forward to and not a disappointing pseudo-film. I got sick of that game fast when I realised most of it was watching rather than playing.

So R* is now all GTA V...

As for Vinewood, that was in San Andreas, last PS2 game, and original Xbox. Don't expect GTA Five to be a rehash of all the other cities, it would have been done, even now!

Isn't Carcer City AKA Philadelphia the city used in Manhunt?

Could be the plan, and BTW; Chorus, don't get upset because you CHOSE LA Noire for your example, you didn't pretend your question as a joke, you know? I'm waiting to buy the PC version of LA Noire, it might just work with less graphic demands me thinks

 

As for controversy, Rockstar themselves will ignore it, they can say what they want, the game will still sell

 

As for raining on anyone's parade, it could be the tactic they were thinking, who's to say, but..... Good one!! haha

 

@Karinsultan, Carcer was really only a fragment in SA gameplay from my memory, the tourist ads never get old, I think with the economy the way it is, it just makes sense, a whole lotta sense

We are not at all suggesting the game will take place in 1907.

We are just showing that this is where they took the design of the logo from, disproving earlier doubts that the game would not be set in the USA.
