Looks like we're heading to SA folks judging by the colours of that image.

To be honest that font that says 'Five' looks a tad familiar for some reason.

I'm speculating as to whether it could be European in a way.

It's definitely not Europe. The green and the font are definitely related to American dollars, so I think it's set in America.

I can't BELIEVE IT! suddenly on a random Tuesday, during the promotion of Max Payne 3, we got an announcement for GTA V! how happy I'm right now! and also, a trailer in just a week!

 

VG247's 2010 report is correct. GTA V is announced in Max Payne 3 event. 'event' in the context means, during the promotion time of Max Payne 3. It's almost confirmed that a late 2012 release is confirmed. It's really true that Rockstar doesn't need a big exhibition such as E3 to throw their bombs.

Somehow that fancy 'V' reminded me of Saints Row: The Third fancy style.

The logo is 100% a US$5 bill based theme. This screams to me a modern day Washington DC based around the debt and stuff.

That V logo reminds me of my 2nd favourite city from any GTA's, Las Venturas. Can't wait for more information.
