So, if I am correct. The numbers were 204 and 1102?

 

1102 = 2nd of November for Americans.

 

204 = Maybe the amount of days after the trailer the game is released?

 

I'm just clutching at straws here, but it's worth a shot.

 

EDIT: That would make it the 24th May 2012, any relation to other dates?

Well the 24th May is a Thursday and is at the end of the month, which is usually when Rockstar releases their main GTAs, IIRC.

well there is 6 months between November and May 2012, and add 22 days to that to get 204, then you get 23rd May or 24th

so the release date is the 24/05/2012 which there has been clues given to that which i found

I watched the timer count down to 0 and then BAM! No video information for the specificed ID

It would have been funny if it worked, wow, how it would have fooled us all!

Maybe they havnt uploaded the trailer yet, We should try doing that a couple minutes before the actualy release, we might get a quicker look XD

My God! A rather good idea. I'm in work until and hour after the trailer is released so I can't do it. Will you be trying this?

That will be the first place it will be seen as though that is the structure of the video its self.

I understood about 0.01% of that code tounge.gif Will it take you long to find the video in all that coding? I'm kind of glad I'll see it an hour after because the video should load smoothly. I've noticed that some videos on the R* website don't have the 720p option, do you think V's trailer will? I guess their YouTube upload will so I may just watch it on there.

I don't understand any of it either tounge.gif But I can spot a link from a hundred miles away.

I've already found the test video, and there's a 99.999999999% chance that, unless they change their minds about how to do this at the last minute, they'll just replace the video link with the GTA V trailer.

Here's where the video link is, as for the second highlighted link I have no ides what it os going to be, but it will be something.

They will upload the trailer tomorrow the earliest. Rockstar don't work on weekends as far as I know.

At the moment it's the max payne trailer tounge.gif

As a test yes, to stop us seeing the real one, they know what they're doing, when it gets closer to the time they will replace it with the GTA V trailer.

The thing is that we never said it was uploaded now or that we were searching for a video. We were merely stating that the video is bound to be uploaded to Rockstar's website before the actual release time. So to look through all the code and download the video that way, you can see it at the same time as everyone else but without all the waiting around for the site traffic to clear up.

 

@ awsomeking5: Well, I'm in work anyway so I'll leave all that Matrix stuff in your seemingly capable hands tounge.gif Good luck and enjoy the heck out of it!

No, this IS the code for the video, the only thing is that it has a test video at the moment, it will change and it will have the real one in it.

Go to the Windows folder and delete the file, 'system32'.

on the plane at the credits in TBOGT it says "24051972 LJK"

 

24/05 = 24th May.

 

What if this really could be it? Maybe just a coincidence.
