Since we're speculating I'm gonna go ahead and say that an environment like the one in RDR will not be featured in GTA V since they wouldn't step on it's toes like that.

How do you even do that? It's so much height on it, please god tell me you're not stretching it, it just hurts my brain why anybody would ever do that and think it'd look good

Probably just use a cropped piece out of the middle or/and put a couple of stripes down either side to widen it.

 

A bit like this:

But with a bit more care to proportions and stripe colour and more than 10 seconds maybe.

It's Triple XP in RDR for the next 24 hours... I think Rockstar may be trying to get us away from this topic.

Every so often Rockstar post on Facebook when you can get Triple XP in Red Dead.

Irrelevant to me because I'm a Prestige 5 lvl50 and I recently finished off the golden guns.

I was happy we got some new characters for MP, but I wanted more ranks!

If you're looking for hints to Five's location in RDR, here's one: There was a Stranger mission in RDR entitled "Going to California". Coincidence, I think not!

Sorry to burst your bubble but it wont help at all because a plane doesnt just take off in the direction of its location you know, for example lets just say the 2 runways in Liberty City face east and west and the location was in the north the plane will not take off to the north, it cant because there is no runway to the north, it would take off to the east and do a 90 degree turn, so your theory is very flawed .

Well during the time period that RDR was set a lot of people were migrating from the "wild west" to the cities in California, but yh as Andrew said, this isn't really the topic for RDR discussion

Not to mention wind, airspace boundaries and aviation traffic.... or is that too realistic?

 

 

I don't think RDR is linked in anyway to GTA V, might be the same company but its compltely different studios, it would be cool though if the linked the different games together in some way. It seem the whole "It's Vice City!" craze has took a sudden twist as people start to hop on the "It's San Andreas!" train lol. That logo is just not Miami themed at all, unless it took place in like a 1950's Miami.

 

Can't wait till next week, not just for the actual trailer but to see what we can discover from it!
