There's really no such thing as "stealing" ideas when it comes to something on the scale of V. Think of how many members here alone have thought of the dollar bill connection, or LA hints, or anything like that. The likelihood that someone else off the forums that shares your opinion or speculation is more than plausible. In fact, I'd expect it. Claiming you were the first to think of an idea or concept is just as pathetic as people saying they stole it.

I think GTA V should be like the GTA III era with one and only character and DLC is good but i think it is pointless to have DLC for GTA V

Oh and have the main game and DLC in one huge game instead

I'm ready - won't be pleased about it, but it's how R* does business.

Yup, exactly what i am talking about...Red dead redemption did the same thing with the whole "Golden guns", "deadly assassin" outfit etc. etc. Although it was nothing game-breaking, it was still a bit of a disappointment that it wasn't included in all copies of the game.

 

Anyway, I'm jumping the gun rather quickly here...I'm just happy it was announced to begin with. I can't lie though, I was almost positive V would come out for the next gen. consoles. Quite a nice surprise we'll get 1 more this gen.

I can't see Rockstar doing DLC like other companies do, if they do DLC it will hopefully be similar to The Lost and Dammed, and The Ballard of Gay Tony.

I hope Rockstar do DLC's like that for GTA V. 1600 Microsoft points for basically a full game.

Yeah, like i said before, it is somewhat jumping the gun a bit but i think it's fair to speculate/discuss things like this..

 

It also gives us something else to talk about before the trailer is released.

lol, yes. anyways, everyone who says he/she can't wait this week...I say: enjoy this last 7 days...when the trailer comes out, a lot of dreams will be crushed, we#ll see how many get fullfilled.

i think it's LC,VC and either LV,LS or SF all in one big game, and i think that is why they took so long

it runs on server time. The server here is in USA i think, meaning that its going USA time wherever its set at.

If you look at the timer here, and the timer on rockstars homepage, you'll see that it is 1 hour off.

 

When the timer here hits 00 00 00 00, It will still be one hour left (ish) .

i think that over here in the UK we are an hour behind on the 30th October but that might not have anything to do with it

The R* timer displays an hour difference for UKers and USAers. The trailer will be released at 12 pm (noon) Eastern, so I think our timer is correct..

I want a nice mix of:

 

Countryside, beach, built up cities and heck, even a bit of a desert! San Andreas offered those apart from an amazing beach, like Vice City had!

 

Anyway, I am sure R* will come up with something amazing, and its really satisfying to know that development is obviously nearly complete. I seriously now respect Rockstar for how they decide to do things, I prefer to be kept in suspense for any of their games and Rockstar know that keeping us all in suspense is pretty much free advertising.

 

Anyhow, roll on GTA V!

why is the timer such a big deal for people! You know it comes out on Wednesday, time wont go by quicker because your watching a timer.

Every new GTA is better than a previous one. Just like Vice City was more interesting than III, like SA was more cooler than VC and like IV has much better plot than any GTA before. I'm preparing for something better now.

Are the calls for GTA V to be a new San Andreas annoying anyone else. Surely you'd want GTA V to be its own game yet there are members on here who whine about the lack of jet packs or ridiculous story line and humour in GTA IV and want Rockstar to basically rehash an old game. I honestly cannot understand it. What's more, Rockstar isn't really derp humour which is what a lot of "fans" seem to want.
